Salah satu komponen terpenting dalam proses pengiriman impor adalah biaya. Beberapa pengiriman menggunakan multi moda seperti kapal dan truk, pesawat terbang dan kereta api dan lain-lain. Setiap tahun proses pengiriman impor berlangsung di wilayah Jabodetabek. Biaya yang murah merupakan terpenting dalam proses ini. Emisi juga tidak luput dari perhatian. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses impor dimana pengembalian peti kemas pinjaman yang benar merupakan salah satu hal penting untuk mengurangi biaya tambahan. Pemilihan lokasi pelabuhan dan rute perjalanan darat menjadi hal yang harus diperhatikan karena kondisi wilayah Jabodetabek yang tidak dapat diprediksi dan banyaknya impor yang masuk melalui pelabuhan yang ada dan juga pengurangan emisi menjadi perhatian. Kemudian model optimasi menjadi solusi untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dengan berbagai solusi dan hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan bagi importir untuk pemilihan moda transportasi, lokasi pelabuhan dan biaya.

One of the most important components in the import shipping process is cost. Some shipments use multi-mode such as ships and trucks, airplanes and trains and others. Every year the import delivery process takes place in the Jabodetabek area. Low cost is paramount in this process. Emissions have not gone unnoticed either. This study focuses on the import process where the correct return of loan containers is one of the important things to reduce additional costs. The choice of port location and road trip routes is something that must be considered because the condition of the Jabodetabek area is unpredictable and the large number of imports that enter through existing ports as well as reducing emissions are a concern. Then the optimization model becomes a solution to solve this problem with various solutions and the results of this study can be used for importers for the selection of transportation modes, port locations and costs
