Petjo adalah bahasa campuran antara bahasa Indonesia dan Belanda yang dituturkan oleh orang Indo. Meski Petjo, atau yang dikenal dengan krom holland atau ‘broken dutch’ dan terkesan terkesan sangat Belanda. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis-deskriptif. Sebagian besar leksikonnya adalah bahasa Belanda dengan beberapa kosakata bahasa Indonesia, namun struktur kalimatnya hampir mirip dengan bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu struktur tersebut adalah posisi verba terutama persoonsvorm serta beberapa konjungsi yang digunakan di dalam kalimat. Dalam bahasa Belanda terdapat aturan dan kedudukan yang tegas dari verba tersebut dan dapat menentukan bahwa ada dua kedudukan yang sering terjadi dalam bahasa Belanda yaitu het principe van de polen atau lebih dikenal dengan tangconstructie. Tangconstructie ini tidak berlaku di Petjo karena tata bahasa yang digunakan sangat mirip dengan bahasa Indonesia.

Petjo is a mixed language of Indonesian and Dutch, and it is spoken by the Indo`s. Even though Petjo, or also known as krom holland or `broken Dutch`, might seem very Dutch. The method used in this analysis is a descriptive-analysis, and by analyzing the videos it seems that the lexicons are mainly Dutch, with some Indonesian vocabulary, but the structure of the sentence is almost similar to Indonesian. One of those structures are the positions of the verbs, mainly persoonsvorm¸ that are used in the sentence, as well as some conjunctions. In Dutch there are strict rules and positions of these verbs in the sentences and could determine that there are two positions that frequently occur in Dutch, which are het principe van de polen, or better known as tangconstructie. This tangconstructie does not apply in Petjo, because of the very Indonesian-like grammar that it is using.
