Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama di seluruh dunia karena tingginya angka prevalensi dan hubunganya dengan komplikasi penyakit lanjutan yang erat kaitanya dengan penyakit kardiovaskular seperti penyakit jantung atau stroke, kebisingan merupakan salah satu bentuk resiko terjadinya kejadian hipertensi dikarenakan peningkatan level zat kimia seperti kortisol, adrenalin dan noradrenalin merupakkan bentuk respons tubuh terhadap stres yang disebabkan oleh kebisingan yang memberikkan dampak pada,peningkatan denyut jantung, dan peningkatan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kebisingan dan variabel faktor resiko lainya (usia, aktivitas fisik, riwayat hipertensi keluarga, indeks massa tubuh, kebiasaan merokok, penggunaan APT, lama kerja, durasi kerja, jenis pekerjaan, tempat kerja, jarak dari sumber kebisingan, dan gangguan pendengaran) dengan tekanan darah tinggi pada pekerja depo lokomotif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 86 orang pekerja depo lokomotif Cipinang dan Tanah Abang. Hasil analisis penelitian menggunakan uji chi square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kebisingan (P value 0,136 ; OR 2,638 ; 95% CI 0,779 – 7,021) dengan kejadian hipertensi. Namun, didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor indeks massa tubuh pekerja (P value 0,003 ; OR 4,583 ; 95% CI 1,732 – 12,132) dengan kejadian hipertensi. Sehingga dibutuhkan pelaksanaan promosi kesehatan secara rutin pada pekerja depo lokomotif, melakukkan pengukuran kebisingan secara berkala dan membentuk unit khusus EHS (environment, Health, and Safety) yang bertugas khusus dalam bentuk pencegahan dan pengendalian bahaya akibat kerja seperti pajanan kebisingan.

This study aims to determine the relationship between noise level and other risk factor variables (age, physical activity, family history of hypertension, body mass index, smoking habits, use of ear protection equipment, length of work, duration of work, type of work, workplace, distance from noise sources. and hearing loss) with high blood pressure in locomotive depot workers. This study used a cross sectional method with a total sample of 86 workers of the Cipinang and Tanah Abang locomotive depot. The results of the research analysis using the chi square test showed that there was no significant relationship between noise levels (P value 0.136; OR 2.638; 95% CI 0.779 - 7.021) and the incidence of hypertension. However, there was a significant relationship between the worker's body mass index (P value 0.003; OR 4.583; 95% CI 1.732 - 12.132) with the incidence of hypertension. So that it is necessary to carry out routine health promotion for locomotive depot workers, conduct regular noise measurements and form a special EHS (environment, Health, and Safety) unit which has a special task in the form of prevention and control of occupational hazards such as noise exposure.
