Tesis ini membahas fungsi kolofon dalam naskah Melayu koleksi A.B. Cohen Stuart (CS) yang tersimpan di Perpustakaan Nasional RI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah edisi teks biasa untuk membuat transliterasi kolofon dengan pendekatan kodikologi untuk menganalis kolofon naskah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kolofon dalam naskah Melayu koleksi CS memiliki fungsi untuk menggambarkan aktivitas penyalinan naskah Melayu di Jakarta pada abad ke-19. Selain itu, kolofon dalam naskah Melayu koleksi CS juga memiliki fungsi sejarah, fungsi sosial dan budaya, serta fungsi ekonomi......This thesis discusses the function of the colophon in the Malay manuscript of A.B. Cohen Stuart’s collection at the National Library of Indonesia. The method used in this research is standard text edition to make colophon transliteration and a codicological approach to analyze the text colophon. The conclusion of this study is that the colophon in the Malay manuscript of A.B. Cohen Stuart’s collection has a function to describe the activity of copying Malay manuscripts in Jakarta in the 19th century. It also has historical, social and cultural function, and economic function.
