Impedance Spectroscopy Analysis of La0.8Sr0.2Fe1-xMgxO3 Perovskite Material Prepared by Sol-Gel Method = Analisis Spektroskopi Impedansi Material Perovskite la0.8sr0.2fe1.Mgx03 yang Dipreparasi dengan Metode Sol-Gel

 Abstract

In this work, we tried to study and analyze the efficacy of divalent cation by sintering process and using Sol-gel method with substitution the Fe-site on the lattice structure and how-to analysis a series of La0.8Sr0.2Fe1-xMgxO3 (x = 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) perovskite material. The products were characterized with X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, Brunauer – Emmett – Teller (BET), Raman Scattering Spectra and UV-Vis Spectroscopy. The XRD analysis indicated that these perovskite materials are well fitted with the space group and an orthorhombic structure. The lattice parameters and crystallite size increase with the increase of Mg substitutions, indicating that the presence of Mg2+ in the crystal lattice inhibits the growth of the crystallite size. The results of the SEM analysis showed that the sample particles generally have an inhomogeneous spherical shape. The results of EDX and XRF characterization confirmed the elemental composition of all samples, the main elements La, Sr, Fe, Mg, O appeared in the EDX spectrum according to the stoichiometric calculations. While the BET test showed the diversity of surface area values ​​which are confirmed due to differences in element composition based on stoichiometric calculations in powder samples. The optical properties were characterized by using UV-Vis showing a smaller bond energy gap with the increase in Mg doping. The bandgap value increased with increasing doping constant. Electrical properties were tested by using impedance spectroscopy method with variations in frequency (1 kHz – 2 MHz) and temperature (30 ° – 175 °C). Impedance data presented in the form of a Nyquist plot and a Bode plot, used for identify the equivalent circuit parameters. When the temperature increased the Nyquist plot, showed the reduction of semicircular diameter. Impedance data indicated the decrease of Z', by increasing temperature. In Z” the peaks are asymmetrical and expanded with increasing temperature, and relaxation peaks decreases shifting to a higher frequency indicated that relaxation is dependent on the thermal activation of the charge carrier. According to dielectric studies, with increasing temperature, the dielectric constant increases. In imaginary dielectric constant at low frequency, samples have the highest dielectric constant in all temperature ranges. The conductivity in the high frequency region (>104 Hz) increases with increasing frequency, due to hopping between ions at site B the conductivity increases with increasing temperature.
Pada penelitian ini, kami mencoba mempelajari dan menganalisis efikasi kation divalen melalui proses sintering dan metode Sol-gel dengan substitusi Fe-site pada struktur kisi dan cara menganalisis rangkaian La0.8Sr0.2Fe1-xMgxO3 ( x = 0,1, 0,2, dan 0,3) bahan perovskit. Produk dikarakterisasi dengan difraktometer sinar-X (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), analisis Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), analisis Brunauer – Emmett – Teller (BET), Raman Scattering Spectra dan UV-Vis Spectroscopy. Analisis XRD menunjukkan bahwa bahan perovskit ini cocok dengan grup ruang Pbnm dan struktur ortorombik. Parameter kisi dan ukuran kristal meningkat dengan meningkatnya substitusi Mg, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Mg2+ dalam kisi kristal menghambat pertumbuhan ukuran kristal. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa partikel sampel umumnya memiliki bentuk sferis yang tidak homogen. Hasil karakterisasi EDX dan XRF menegaskan komposisi unsur semua sampel, unsur utama La, Sr, Fe, Mg, O muncul pada spektrum EDX sesuai perhitungan stoikiometri. Sedangkan uji BET menunjukkan adanya keragaman nilai luas permukaan yang terkonfirmasi karena adanya perbedaan komposisi unsur berdasarkan perhitungan stoikiometri pada sampel serbuk. Sifat optik dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan UV-Vis menunjukkan celah energi ikatan yang lebih kecil dengan meningkatnya doping Mg. Nilai celah pita meningkat dengan meningkatnya konstanta doping. Sifat kelistrikan diuji menggunakan metode spektroskopi impedansi dengan variasi frekuensi (1 kHz – 2 MHz) dan temperatur (30° – 175 °C). Data impedansi disajikan dalam bentuk plot Nyquist dan plot Bode, digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi parameter rangkaian ekivalen. Ketika suhu meningkat plot Nyquist, menunjukkan pengurangan diameter setengah lingkaran. Data impedansi menunjukkan penurunan Z', dengan meningkatnya suhu. Dalam Z” puncaknya asimetris dan meluas dengan meningkatnya suhu, dan puncak relaksasi menurun bergeser ke frekuensi yang lebih tinggi menunjukkan bahwa relaksasi tergantung pada aktivasi termal pembawa muatan. Menurut studi dielektrik, dengan meningkatnya suhu, konstanta dielektrik meningkat. Dalam konstanta dielektrik imajiner pada frekuensi rendah, sampel memiliki konstanta dielektrik tertinggi di semua rentang suhu. Konduktivitas di wilayah frekuensi tinggi (>104 Hz) meningkat dengan meningkatnya frekuensi, karena melompat antara ion di situs B konduktivitas meningkat dengan meningkatnya suhu.
