Bencana tsunami yang menerjang Kabupaten Pandeglang tahun 2018 menyebabkan adanya kerusakan pada permukiman penduduk di sekitar pesisir pantai Pandeglang. Hal itu membuat perlunya ketersediaan pemukiman kembali (resettlement) untuk proses rehabilitasi dan rekonstruksi sosial pada penduduk yang menjadi korban tsunami. Dalam menentukan lokasi pemukiman kembali (resettlement) dipilih berdasarkan kebutuhan yang dapat menunjang kegiatan sosial ekonomi penghuni. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik lokasi untuk pemukiman kembali (resettlement) ditinjau berdasarkan kondisi site dan situation serta hubungannya dengan kondisi sosial ekonomi berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendapatan, dan interaksi sosial Penghuni. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis komparasi keruangan serta menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel yang terdiri dari, karakteristik lokasi dan kondisi sosial ekonomi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu karakteristik lokasi pemukiman kembali (resettlement) Kabupaten Pandeglang didominasi dengan tipe memadai dan cukup strategis. Lingkungan pemukiman kembali (resettlement) memiliki tipe site yang memadai, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan penghuni, dan lokasi pemukiman kembali (resettlement) dengan tipe situation cukup strategis yang ditinjau berdasarkan kemudahan aksesibilitas. Terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik pemukiman kembali (resettlement) dengan penurunan pendapatan penghuni, serta terganggunya interaksi sosial yang terjalin antar penghuni. Dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik lokasi dengan pekerjaan penghuni.

The tsunami that hit Pandeglang Regency in 2018 caused damage to residential areas around the coast of Pandeglang. It makes the need for the availability of resettlement for the rehabilitation and social reconstruction in the tsunami-affected population. In determining the location of resettlement, it is chosen based on the needs that can support the socio-economic activities of the population. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of the location for resettlement in terms of site and situation conditions and their relationship to the socio-economic conditions based on occupation, income, and social interaction of the population. The method used is spatial comparison analysis and uses descriptive analysis to see the relationship between variables, which consists of location characteristics and socio-economic conditions. The results of this study are characteristics of the resettlement site Pandeglang dominated with adequate types and quite a strategy. The resettlement environment has a site type that is adequate to meet the needs of the residents, and a resettlement location with a quite strategic type of situation which is reviewed based on the ease of accessibility. There is a relationship between the characteristics of resettlement with a decrease in the income of residents and the disruption of social interactions residents. And there is no relationship between the location characteristics with the occupation of the residents.
