Timbulnya asap yang disebabkan oleh kebakaran hutan dan lahan memiliki karakteristik sangat spesifik karena sebagian besar berada di lahan gambut. Upaya untuk pencegahan terjadinya kebakaran hutan dan lahan merupakan hal yang esensial mengingat maraknya kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Maka dari itu, dalam penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola spasial dari pemodelan spasial wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan dengan Hybrid Fire Index dan mengetahui hubungan antara wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan dan fungsi kawasan hutan di Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode Hybrid Fire Index digunakan untuk pembobotan setiap variabel yang digunakan. Terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan yaitu topografi dan aktivitas manusia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis raster overlay dengan pembobotan Hybrid Fire Index, didapatkan bahwa Kabupaten Kubu Raya didominasi oleh wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan tingkat sedang sebesar 654.901,50 hektar atau 76,55%. Hasil pemodelan spasial wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan telah divalidasi dengan titik panas tahun 2021 menggunakan kurva AUC/ROC dan didapatkan area di bawah nilai kurva ROC 0,862 yang menandakan bahwa skor model ini sangat baik. Hasil analisis nearest neighbor menunjukkan bahwa nilai rasio lebih dari 1 sehingga diartikan bahwa sebaran wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan tingkat tinggi memiliki pola menyebar di seluruh wilayah kabupaten. Hasil uji statistik chi-square wilayah bahaya dengan wilayah konsesi menghasilkan nilai signifikan kurang dari 0,05 dengan contingency coefficient 0,603 sehingga diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sedang antara wilayah bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan dengan fungsi kawasan hutan dan lahan.

The emergence of smoke caused by forest and land fires has very specific characteristics because most of it is on peatlands. Efforts to prevent forest and land fires are essential considering the prevalence of forest and land fires in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the spatial pattern of spatial modeling of forest and land fire hazard areas with the Hybrid Fire Index and determine the relationship between forest and land fire hazard areas and the function of forest areas in Kubu Raya Regency. The Hybrid Fire Index method is used to weight each variable used. There are two factors that affect forest and land fire hazard areas, namely topography and human activities. Based on the results of the raster overlay analysis with the Hybrid Fire Index weighting, it was found that Kubu Raya Regency is dominated by forest fire hazard areas and medium-level land of 654,901.50 hectares or 76.55%. The results of spatial modeling of forest and land fire hazard areas have been validated with hotspots in 2021 using the AUC/ROC curve and the area under the ROC curve value is 0.862 which indicates that the score of this model is very good. The results of the nearest neighbor analysis show that the ratio value is more than 1, which means that the distribution of forest and high-level land and forest fire hazard areas has a spreading pattern throughout the district. The results of the chi-square statistical test of the hazard area with the concession area yielded a significant value of less than 0.05 with a contingency coefficient of 0.603, which means that there is a moderate relationship between forest and land fire hazard areas and the function of forest and land areas.
