Hipertensi dalam kehamilan atau HDK sampai saat ini masih menjadi penyumbang terbesar penyebab kematian ibu di seluruh dunia. Hipertensi dalam kehamilan juga menjadi penyebab terbesar kematian ibu di Jawa Timur berturut-turut dari tahun 2015-2020. Selain itu, saat ini terjadi peningkatan tren prevalensi obesitas baik pada ibu hamil maupun wanita usia subur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh ibu terhadap terjadinya gangguan hipertensi dalam kehamilan di Puskesmas Kebomas Gresik tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional dengan total sampel yang diperoleh sebesar 420 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, prevalensi hipertensi dalam kehamilan di Puskesmas Kebomas Gresik tahun 2021 sebesar 12,1%. Penelitian ini menemukan hubungan signifikan antara ibu yang overweight dengan terjadinya gangguan hipertensi dalam kehamilan dengan nilai PR 4,10 (95% CI 1,52 – 11,02). Untuk variabel kovariat, tingkat pendidikan ibu berhubungan signifikan dengan terjadinya hipertensi dalam kehamilan dengan nilai PR 1,92 (1,05 – 3,51). Setelah dilakukan stratifikasi, risiko terbesar ibu hamil yang mengalami overweight untuk menderita hipertensi ada pada kelompok ibu hamil berusia ≥35 tahun, memiliki jarak kehamilan <3 tahun, berpendidikan tinggi, serta bekerja. Perlunya dilakukan pengukuran dan edukasi secara rutin terhadap para remaja terutama remaja putri mengenai pentingnya menjaga berat badan tetap normal. Selain itu, pentingnya pelaksanaan kunjungan ANC secara adekuat perlu digalakkan pada masyarakat.

Hypertension in pregnancy or Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy (HDP) is still the biggest cause of maternal death worldwide. Hypertension in pregnancy is also the biggest cause of maternal death in East Java in a row from 2015-2020. In addition, currently there is an increasing trend of obesity prevalence in both pregnant women and women of reproductive age. This study aims to find the relationship between body mass index and the occurrence of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy at the Kebomas Gresik Health Center in 2021. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a total sample of 420 samples. Results based on the analysis, the prevalence of hypertension in pregnancy at the Kebomas Gresik Health Center in 2021 was 12.1%. This study found a significant relationship between overweight women and the occurrence of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy with a PR value of 4.10 (95% CI 1.52 – 11.02). For the covariate variable, maternal education level was significantly associated with the occurrence of hypertension in pregnancy with a PR value of 1.92 (1.05 – 3.51). After stratification, the greatest risk of pregnant women who are overweight to suffer from hypertension is in the group of pregnant women aged ≥35 years, having a pregnancy interval of <3 years, highly educated, and working. The need for regular measurements and education of adolescents, especially adolescents about the importance of maintaining a normal weight. In addition, the importance of adequate ANC visits needs to be encouraged in the community.
