Latar belakang: Mahasiswa kedokteran telah menunjukkan tingkat ansietas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan populasi umum. Hal ini memiliki berbagai implikasi negatif sehingga dibutuhkan usaha untuk menanggulanginya. Penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya telah menilik resiliensi sebagai salah satu faktor protektif terhadap ansietas. Namun, belum ada penelitian yang menguji hubungan antara resiliensi dan ansietas pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Indonesia terkhususnya pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara resiliensi dengan ansietas pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia tingkat 3 di masa pandemi COVID-19.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang pada mahasiswa FKUI tingkat 3 dengan menggunakan kuesioner CD-RISC25 untuk menilai tingkat resiliensi dan kuesioner K10 untuk menilai ansietas subjek. Analisis hubungan kedua variabel dilakukan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney.Hasil: Hasil uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov terhadap data resiliensi dibandingkan dengan faktor ansietas menunjukkan distribusi tidak normal (p<0,05), dengan rerata nilai 69,39 ± 14,11. Berdasarkan uji Mann Whitney, resiliensi dan ansietas menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan (asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0,00) di mana tingkat resiliensi yang lebih rendah berhubungan dengan ansietas.Kesimpulan: Resiliensi memiliki hubungan signifikan yang berbanding terbalik dengan ansietas pada mahasiswa FKUI tingkat 3.

Introduction: Medical students have shown higher anxiety levels compared to the general population. As this has many negative implications, so efforts are needed to overcome it. Previous studies have looked into resilience as one of the protective factors for anxiety. However, there have been no studies that examine the relationship between resilience and anxiety in medical students in Indonesia, especially during the era of COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and anxiety in third year medical students of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Method: This study used a cross-sectional design on third year medical students of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia using CD-RISC25 questionnaire to see resilience and K10 questionnaire to see subject’s anxiety. Analysis of the two variables was conducted using the Mann Whitney test.

Result: The result of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for resilience data compared to the anxiety factors showed that the data is not normally distributed (p<0.05), with a mean score of 69,39 ± 14,11. According to the Mann Whitney test, resilience and anxiety showed a significant relationship (asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0.00) in which lower resilience level is correlated with anxiety.  

Conclusion: Resilience has significant and inverse relationship with anxiety in third year medical students of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia.
