OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi sangat dibutuhkan bagi pengguna perpustakaan. Salah satu Perpustakaan yang telah memanfaatkan OPAC adalah Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemanfaatan OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi di website Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Evaluasi Inspeksi Kebermanfaatan dalam meninjau pemanfaatan sistem OPAC dari 165 butir checklist sistem OPAC yang harus dipenuhi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa hanya sebesar 41,82% butir checklist yang terpenuhi, artinya OPAC LAPAN Bandung masih belum baik. Oleh karena itu, Perpustakaan LAPAN Bandung perlu mengoptimalkan pengembangan website OPAC sehingga dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya. Adapun keluhan yang ditemui pengguna akibat kurangnya efektivitas OPAC adalah sulit menemukan informasi terkait ketersediaan buku. Pengguna masih harus mengandalkan penelusuran mandiri ke rak buku atau bertanya langsung kepada pustakawan.

OPAC as a means of information retrieval is needed for library users. One of the libraries that uses OPAC is the LAPAN Bandung Library. This study aims to see the use of OPAC as a means of retrieving information on the LAPAN Bandung Library website. This study uses the Usability Inspection Evaluation Method in reviewing the utilization of the OPAC system from the 165 items of the OPAC system checklist that must be fulfilled. The results of the study show that only 41.82% of the 165 items of the OPAC system checklist were met. This shows that the quality of OPAC LAPAN Bandung is still poor. Therefore, Lapan Bandung Library needs to optimize the development of its OPAC website so that it can effectively and efficiently satisfy the needs of its users. The users complained the ineffectiveness of OPAC that it is difficult to find information regarding the availability of books. Users still have to independently browsing on the bookshelf or ask the librarian directly.
