Profesi apoteker memegang peranan penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Seorang apoteker dibekali keilmuan terkait farmasi industri dan farmasi klinis secara keseluruhan dan harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari 10 (sepuluh) standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker pada saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Ethica Industri Farmasi periode 10 Januari – 3 Maret 2022 dan Apotek Roxy Perwira periode April 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.
