Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia tinggi. Upaya yang di tempuh untuk menurunkan angka tersebut adalah dengan melalui 'Gerakan Sayang lbu' yang melibatkan seluruh pihak yang terkait. Sebagai jalan keluar dari tingginya AKI di rumah sakit adalah dengan meningkatkan fungsi rumah sakit rujukan dan peningkatan ketampilan penolong persalinan.

RSUD Dr.M.Ashan Pemalang bekerjasama dengan P2KP-KR (Pusat Pelatihan Klinik Primer Kesehatan Reproduksi) pemah mengadakan pelatihan LLS, PONEDIPONEK. Akan tetapi angka kematian maternal masih tetap tinggi. Oleh karenanya, RSUD Dr.M.Ashari menyelenggarakan kegiatan Asuhan Persalinan Dasar (APD) bagi Bidan. Suatu metode pelatihan yang dikembangkan oleh JNPK-KR di bawah pengawasan JHPIEGO. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelatihan APD dengan kasus rujukan bidan di RSUD Dr.M.Ashari Pemalang.

Disain penelitian berupa studi kros seksional, total sampel sebanyak 80 bidan, 40 bidan yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan APD, 40 bidan belum pernah mengikuti APD yang dipilih secara purposif Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis univariat serta analisis bivariat dengan uji Kai-kuadrat (X2)

Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini secara statistik tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pelatihan APD dengan kasus rujukan bidan di RSUD Dr.M.Ashari Pemalang (p > 0,05). Sedangkan hubungan antara rujukan kasus partus fisiologis dengan pelatihan APD terdapat hubungan yang bermakna. Demikian juga terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kasus kematian maternal kurang dari 48 jam pertama di rumah sakit dengan pelatihan APD.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka perlu ditindaklanjuti penelitian yang lebih mendalam dalam kurun waktu yang lebih lama di masa mendatang.

Relation Between the Training of Basic Delivery Services for Midwives with The Referal Cases at Regional Hospital Dr. M. Ashari - Pemalang, 2000.The Maternal Mortality Rate (AKI) in Indonesia is very high. The effort done to reduce this rate is by the movement of Safe Motherhood involving all the related element. As the Solution of the high rate of maternal mortality in hospital is by increasing the function of referal hospital and the increasing of attendant's skill.

The Regional Hospital in Pemalang cooperates with P2KP-KR (The Training Centre of Reproduction Health Primer Clinic) it has ever held the Live Saving Skill Training, PONEDIPONEK. However, the rate of maternal mortality remains high. That is why, Pemalang Regional Hospital Dr. M. Ashari hold the activity of basic delivery services for midwives, A Training method developed by JNPK-KR under the supervisory of JHPIEGO. The goal of this research is to know the relationship between the Training of Basic Delivery Services (Training of APD) for Midwives with the Referal Case from Midwives in Pemalang Regional Hospital Dr. M. Ashari. The design of the research is a Cross Sectional Study, the total sample is 80 Midwives. Fourty Midwives have ever attended The Training of APD. Fourty others have never attended the Training of APD chosen purposively.; The Analization done are Univariate Analization and Bivariate Analization with Chi-Square Test.

The result obtained from this reasearch has no relationship statistically between "APD" Training and Midwives referal cases in Pemalang Regional Hospital Dr. M. Ashari . (p > 0.05). Whereas the relationship between the referal cases of partus physiology and the "APD" Training has meaningfully relationship. And there is also meaningful relationship between maternal mortality case from the first 48 hours in hospital and the "APD" Training.

Based on the result of this reasearch , it is necessary to follow up the deeper reasearch in a longer periode in the future time.
