Kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana mencakup aspek keragaman tugas, pengawasan, relevansi dengan minat, umpan balik dan pertumbuhan pribadi. Kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana dapat dipengaruhi oleh pelaksanaan supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala ruangan. Dengan demikian keberhasilan pelaksanaan supervisi ditentukan oleh kompetensi supervisi kepala ruangan. Kompetensai supervisi mencakup kompetensi entrepreneurial, intelektual, emosi dan interpersonal. Hubungan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana dengan kompetensi supervisi kepala ruangan dapat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik perawat pelaksana tersebut.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di RS OMNI Medical Center Jakarta, dengan jumlah sample 128 perawat pelaksana. Hasil analisis dengan table silang atau uji kai kuadrat didapatkan empat subvariabel kompetensi supervisi kepala ruangan (entrepreneurial, intelektual, emosi dan interpersonal) semua berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana. Sedangkan hubungan karakteristik perawat pelaksana (usia, pendidikan, jertis kelamin, status perkawinan, lama kerja dan pelatihan) dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana hanya variabel pendidikan yang berhubungan secara signifikan. Hasil analisis multivariat dengan regresi logistik ganda didapatkan variabel karakteristik perawat pelaksana yang diprediksi sebagai variabel pengganggu temyata tidak benar, sehingga variabel kompetensi supervisi merupakan variabel utama yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana. Variabel intelektual dan emosi merupakan variabel yang paling signifikan berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana dan variabel intelektual yang paling besar berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana.
Disarankan kepada RS CMNI Medical Center Jakarta untuk menggunakan hasil penelitian ini guna perbaikan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan, khususnya yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan perawat.
The Relation between Supervision Competences of Head Nurse with Nurse Work Satisfaction in OMNI Medical Center Hospital Jakarta 2002The nurse work satisfaction consists of aspects of job variety, supervision, relevance with interest, feedback and personal development. Nurse work satisfaction could be influenced by the supervision implemented by head nurse, which give a great impact of a success. Head nurse must entrepreneurial, intellectual, emotional and interpersonal competence to achieve a success. Nurse characteristics could also influence the relation between head nurse supervision and nurse work satisfaction.
The type of this research is descriptive study, using the cross sectional approach. The research was implemented at OMNI Medical Center Hospital Jakarta, utilizing 128 nurses as the show samples. The analyze result, using cross table or Chi square show that all four competences of head nurse (entrepreneurial, intellectual, emotional and interpersonal) have significant relation with nurse work satisfaction. The relation between nurse characteristics (age, education, genital status, marital status, work duration, training) and nurse work satisfaction show only variable of education which has a significant relation. The multivariate analyze result with logistic regression indicate that the prediction of nurse characteristics as disturbing variable is not true. Supervision competence is the major variable that has a significant relation with head nurse satisfaction. Intellectual and emotional competences are the most significant variable, related with head nurse work satisfaction. Intellectual competence is the variable having the greatest contribution to nurse work satisfaction.
The researcher recommends that OMNI Medical Center Hospital had better use these results to gain medical service improvement, especially which have relation with nurse satisfaction.
