Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena masalah waktu tunggu pasien, khususnya di Depo Farmasi Unit Rawat Jalan RS PGI Cikini, berdasarkan angket dari bagian Tim Pengendalian Mutu Rumah Sakit yang mendapatkan hasil rendahnya kecepatan pelayanan di Depo Farmasi sehingga waktu tunggu resep menjadi lama. Berdasarkan Survey awal yang dilakukan terhadap 30 resep, ternyata ditemukan waktu pelayanan rata-rata untuk obat jadi adalah 16 menit. Dari 30 resep tersebut masih ada 30% resep terlayani sekitar 66 menit, sehingga menimbulkan masalah penumpukkan resep dan waktu tunggu pengambilan obat yang lama di Depo Farmasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh model antrian resep yang lebih baik di Depo Farmasi Unit Rawat Jalan RS PGI Cikini.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Cross Sectional dan Operational Research dengan analisis kuantitatif yang diolah berdasarkan pengumpulan data waktu masuk dan keluarnya resep ke dan dari setiap titik pelayanan di Depo Farmasi Unit Rawat Jalan RS PGI Cikini pada sore hari dari tanggal 22 April 2002 sampai dengan 27 April 2002. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pola kedatangan resep mengikuti Distribusi Poisson dengan puncak kedatangan umumnya berada pada pukul 15.00-15.29 dan pukul 19.30-19.59, disiplin antriannya F.I.F.O yang dimodifikasi, struktur antrian Single Channel Multi Phase. Pada penelitian ini dibahas empat alternatif untuk mencari model antrian resep yang paling baik dengan cara mengubah komposisi petugas dan service time di setiap titik pelayanan. Keempat alternatif yang telah disimulasikan menghasilkan parameter antrian yang dapat mengurangi waktu tunggu. Alternatif keempat pada kedatangan di jam sibuk dipilih karena waktu resep dalam sistem lebih singkat dan utilisasi petugas lebih optimum.

The Development of Prescription Queue Model at the Drugstore Continue Care Unit "Sore Hari" PGI Cikini Hospital, Central of JakartaThis research is due the problem of patient's queue time, especially on the Drugstore Continue Care Unit - PGI Cikini Hospital, based on the questionnaire summary from Quality Assurance Team about the lowness of service quality performed by the drugstore. According to the previous survey, there has been completed to 30 prescription, actually found the average service time needed for the ready medicine is only 16 minutes. There are still 30% of 30 prescription which was handled for about 66 minutes, so that it occurred the accumulation prescription problem and long waiting time to get the medicine from the drugstore.

This objective of research is to find the better way or solution to the service problem on the drugstore. The research includes the research of Cross Sectional and Operational Research with quantitative analysis processed due to the in/out coming prescription from/to every spot service at the drugstore, at noon since 22 April 2002 up to 27 April 2001.

The result is the pattern of incoming prescription following the Poisson Distribution and the top incoming is generally on 15.00 - 15.29 and 19.30 - 19.59, its queue discipline is the modified F,1.F,O. its queue structure is Single Channel Multi Phase. On this research has been studied 4 alternatives to find the best model by changing the staff composition and service time at every spot service. Those 4 alternatives which have already been stimulated produce the parameter of reducing the queue time. The fourth alterative preferred choosing the busy time, due to the shorter system apply and the utilization staff is more optimum.
