Simulasi reduksi derau menggunakan transformasi wavelet

 Abstract

ABSTRAK
Derau (noise) yang terjadi pada proses pembentukan atau pengiriman suatu informasi berupa gambar (image) sangat mempengaruhi hasil yang diterima. Karena itu menghilangkan atau mengurangi adanya derau pada gambar merupakan suatu cara agar diperoleh gambar hasil rekonstruksi yang lebih baik. Thresholding adalah salah satu cara untuk menghilangkan atau mengurangi adanya derau pada gambar dengan algoritma Donoho dan menggunakan beberapa jenis fungsi dasar wavelet telah menghasilkan gambar rekonstruksi berdasarkan nilai threshold dari harga standard deviasi distribusi koefisien setiap subband. Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) menyatakan baik atau buruknya suatu gambar hasil rekonstruksi dengan menggunakan suatu algoritma tertentu. Harga SNR yang tinggi menunjukkan gambar hasil rekonstruksi yang baik atau sebaliknya. Analisis proses simulasi ini menggunakan transformasi wavelet dengan algoritma modifikasi sehingga menghasilkan harga Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) yang lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan algoritma Donoho dengan menggunakan fungsi dasar wavelet yang sama.

ABSTRACT
In the recent wavelets literature, there has been considerable interest in the use of wavelet transform for removing noise from images. Various techniques have been attempted to reject noise, one of their methods is Donoho method's. This method is the use of transform based thresholding. The application of thresholding in Donoho method's is merely based on the size of transformed subbands. We proposed similar to the Donoho method's but the size of transformed subbands are replaced by their energy subbands. The simulation results show that the proposed method gave the best SNR compared to the Donoho method's.;In the recent wavelets literature, there has been considerable interest in the use of wavelet transform for removing noise from images.
