Imunisasi Hepatitis B adalah salah satu program imunisasi yang sedang diuji cobakan kepada bayi dan anak dengan tujuan untuk melindungi anak dari infeksi penyakit Kati (Virus Hepatitis B) yang merupakan salah satu penyebab terpenting dari morbiditas dan mortalitas penyakit infeksi.Dari hasil uji coba sebelumnya di pulau Lombok ternyata imunisasi ini berhasil menurunkan angka prevalensi dari 7 % menjadi 1,6 %. Dengan memasukan program imunisasi hepatitis B dalam Program Pengembangan Imunisasi di Indonesia, diharapkan akan terjadi penurunan prevalensi hepatitis B yang bermakna secara epidemilogis. Keberhasilan program ini sangat ditentukan oleh pecan ibu karena dalam hal mengimunisasikan anak ditentukan oleh perilaku ibu balita tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Case control, untuk mernpelajari hubungan antara faktor perilaku kesehatan ibu dengan status imunisasi hepatitis B pada anak umur 6 - 23 bulan di Puskesmas Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi Square dan Regresi Logistik balk secara sederhana maupun secara multivariat.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor perilaku kesehatan ibu yaitu tempat mencari pengobatan, tempat pemeriksaan kehamilan, tempat pertolongan persalinan dan pengetahuan tentang imunisasi Hepatitis B sangat erat hubungannya dengan status imunisasi Hepatitis B pada Hubungan ini juga dipengaruhi dengan adanya interaksi antara perilaku ibu dalam memilih tempat pemeriksaan kehamilan dengan pengetahuan ibu dan interaksi antara perilaku dalam memilih tempat pertolongan persalinan dengan pengetahuan.Untuk menunjang keberhasilan program uji coba imunisasi Hepatitis B pada anak maka perlu dikembangkan sampai ke seluruh tingkat dan jenis pelayanan kesehatan khususnya tempat pelayanan kesehatan swasta dan mempromosikan kepada semua lapisan masyarakat.

Correlation between Factor of Mother's Health Behaviour with Hepatitis B Immunization Status on Children at Matraman Public Health Centre, JakartaHepatitis B immunization is one of the immunization programme which is now being experimented over infants and children in order to protect the children against liver diseases (Hepatitis B virus), this infection is one of the prime causes morbidity and mortality of infectious diseases.

The experiment previously carried out in Lombok proves that this programme has successfully decreased prevalence rate from 7 % to 1,6 %.

By intergrating this programme into Immunization Development Programme in Indonesia,it is expected that there will be significant decrease of Hepatitis B prevalence rate epidemiologically. The succes of this programme is significantly determined by the role of mother in immunizing her children.

Type of this research is Case Control, to study the correlation between Factor of mother's health behaviour with the Hepatitis B immunization status on children aged 6 - 23 months at Matraman Public Health Centre, Jakarta.

Statistical analysis applied is Chi Square and Multiple Logistic Regression, both in simple way and multivariate

The result of the research shows that factor of mother's health behaviour which include place of use of health services, place of antenatal care, place of birth delivery and mother's knowledge about immunization HB are closely interrelated with Hepatitis B immunization status on children.

This correlation is also influenced by the interaction between place of antenatal care with mother's knowledge and interaction between place of birth delivery with mother's know ledge.

In order to support the success of this programme, it is necessary to develop this program through out Indonesia not only at the level of health care but also the type of health care especially the private health services sector and promote to all community levels.
