Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem handling kendaraan tenaga surya yang meliputi sistem kemudi, dan roda yang ditujukan unluk mendapatkan hasil rancangan yang ringan, kuat, serta dapat memberikan kestabilan serta keamanan kepada pengemudi. Pengembangan yang dilakukan meliputi konsep, komputasi mekanik dan pembuatan prototype hingga pengujiannya.
The aim from this research is to develop handling mechanism for solar car, which covers steering mechanism, and wheel. The priority of this thesis will focused on the development of the handling mechanisms strength and light, effort to give more stability and comfort to the driver. The development starts from concept design, followed by the mechanic computing. The prototype was made to fit the purpose of technical test.
