The objective of this research is to explore what types of interpretations exist regarding premarital sexual intercourse in Virgin among its female late teenagers audience. This research also aims to describe the cultural contexts, social settings, and personal experiences that surround those interpretations. Reception studies theory and the encoding -decoding model were used in this research. Employing the constructivist paradigm., it applied the qualitative approach, ethnographic method, and it is therefore descriptive in nature. Findings of this research suggests that female late teenagers possess different interpretations toward the contents of Virgin, and those interpretations are based upon cultural contexts, social settings and personal experiences.
