This article attempt ti explore some duties of information worker as an information proffesional which assumption that activities of the information worker categorised profession. There are three characteristics embodied in a term of profession like substantive, structural and philosophies. These characteristics had a close with the dimension of proffesionalsm. In the term of profession include also three dimension: personal, social and religious. To carry out their duties,the activities of the information professional guided by the ethics as well as duty ethics and eleological ethics. These ethics handle four moral obligations of information professional: honesty; objectivity; competitive and loyalty.
