This article argues that in the era of globalization, the European Union as 'the ultimate of modernity" is having a supremacy among other international actors. The preeminence is not laid only on hard powers such as military, economy,or political power, but mostly on the "area of knowledge" , signed by the domination of European discourses.European discourses are constructed by the history and traditions which are based on Hellenism.The dominance of European discourses is seen in every aspect in Indonesia. From this point, the article addresses us a reflective question: " Who are we,actually?"
