This paper explains Japan's position and role in the dynamic aim of the integration of East Asia(North East and South East Asia) and aims to discover Japan's position and role as far as giving shape to regionalism in this the regions,especially after the Asia crisis. It also discusses several background factors in Japan taking on the role establishing an "East Asian Community".
This paper then is devide into five parts first , background issues which rise Japan's role in the regional crisis.Second,several of Japan's efforts in bringing the Asia crisis to an end through the establishment of AMF, new Miyazawa intiative and Chiang Mai initiative. Third, Japan's position in the region of east Asia countries through the establishment of the FTA. Fourth the interests of the Japanese nation in establishing East Asian economic community.The final part, conclusion by covering contributions which can be given by Japan and the importance which can be reached for in the process of establishing an "East Asian Community
