Agar setiap anak kelak mampu memikul tanggungjawab ia memerlukan kesempatan seluas-luasnya untuk tumbuh dan berkembang tanpa rasa takut mengalami kecacatan dan mengalami tindakan deskriminasi dari orang dewasa yang ada disekitarnya terutama keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara struktur dan fungsi keluarga dengan terjadinya kekerasan pada anak usia pra-sekolah.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara struktur dan fungsi keluarga dengan terjadinya kekerasan pada anak usia pra-sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Kota Sidoarjo, sebanyak 189 keluarga yang memiliki anak usia pra-sekolah. Selanjutnya dilakukan random diperoleh tiga kelurahan yang berada di Kecamatan Kota Sidoarjo, yang terdiri dari kelurahan Bluru Kidul, Lemah Putro, dan Pucang, Hasil penelltian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden, ayah dan ibu berpendidikan SMA, ayah bekerja sebagai pegawai swasta sementara pekerjaan ibu sebagian besar sebagai ibu rumah tangga, penghasilan keiuarga dalam salu bulan rata-rata di atas UMR Kabupaten Sidoarjo (Rp.682.000,-). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sistem nilai dalam keluarga dan komunikasi dalam keluarga dengan terjadinya kekerasan pada anak usia pra-sekolah (p<0,05). Sementara peran keluarga, struktur kekuasaan keluarga, fungsi afektif, fungsi reproduksi, dan fungsi ekonomi diketahui tidak ada hubungan antara variabel tersebut dengan terjadinya kekerasan pada anak usia pra-sekolah (p > 0,05). Faktor struktur dan fungsi keluarga yang paling dominan untuk terjadinya kekerasan pada anak usia pra-sekolah adalah sistem nilai keluarga dan komunikasi keluarga setelah dikontrol oleh variabel umur (p value < 0,1). Dengan demikian hendaknya seorang perawat komunitas mampu merubah paradigma yang saiah dari orang tua yang menggangap bahwa anak adalah barang miliknya yang dapat diperlakukan semaunya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperlukan pemberian informasi kepada keluarga tentang pentingnya komunikasi efektif dalam keluarga. Komunikasi efektif yang dibutuhkan tidak hanya komunikasi verbal tetapi juga komunikasi non verbal.

The aim or this research is to find the relatlon between the structure and the function of the family with the violence that happened to the pre school students. This analysis is analytic study with cross-sectional approach.

The purpose of this study is to know the relation family structure and functional with the pre school child violation. This study did in Kecamatan Kota Sidoarjo on 189 family units who has pre school child. Then did the random of three Kelurahan on kecarnatan Sidoarjo city. the random are kelurahan Bluru Kidul, Lemah Putro, and Pucang. From the instrument try out from 30 family units who has pre school child, has the validity result among 0,3659-0,8317 with the alpha cronbach score (reability) among 1,8376-0,9079. So the instrument study verdict is valid and reliable to use.

The data analysis did with univariate, bivariat analysis: correlation analysis and simple regretion, and multivariate analysis: analysis double regretion logistic. The study result gives general picture of family condition that can be observed big part of respondent has Senior high school education background, the head of family or father work as private employee and a lot of the mother only be a housewives. The family income in 1 month be an average above the UMR of Kabupaten Sidoarjo (Rp.682.000,-). From the bivariate analysis shows that there is relation significant between value system on the family and the communication family, with the pre school child violation (p<0,05). Meanwihile the family role, family ruler structure, affective function, reproduction function and the economic function knows that there is no relation with the pre school child violation (p > 0,05). From the multivariate analysis the structure factor and family function are the dominant to be happening the pre school child violation, which is the family value system and family communication after controlled by age variable (p value< 0, 1). Therefore, as a community nurse should be able to change the wrong principle from the parent who think that children is they property. Accordtng to the information about the need of giviing the effective communication in their family. The need of effective communication not only the verbal communication but the non verbal communication too.
