The success of inclusive education is determined by the positive attitude displayed by non-disabled students. The fact is that students with disabilities still receive a negative attitude. This study aims to determine the relationship between the type of contact and attitudes towards students with disabilities at the University Indonesia. The participants of this study were undergraduate students at the University Indonesia (n = 193). Contact variables consisting of quantity and quality are measured using two measurement tools, namely, Contact with Disabled Persons (Barr & Bracchitta, 2012) and Quality Contact (Islam & Hewstone, 1993), while the attitude variable is measured using the Multidimensional Attitudes Scale Toward Persons with Disabilities (Findler, Vilchinsky & Werner, 2007) adapted by Levyadi and Kurniawati (2022). The results of the study using the Spearman correlation showed that there was no significant relationship between contact and attitudes toward students with disabilities (p > 0.05). Furthermore, a significant relationship was found between the quantity of contact and the cognitive attitude component (p < 0.05) and there was a significant relationship between the quality of contact and the cognitive (p < 0.05), affective (p < 0.05) and action (p < 0.05). The results of the research show the importance of encouraging interaction among students in order to improve the implementation of inclusive education at the University Indonesia.
