Background. Studies on acetabular fracture with quadrilateral plate involvement are lacking. This study aims to determine the postoperative functional, radiological, and quality of life outcomes of acetabular fracture patients with and without quadrilateral plate involvement so it can becomes data of management of acetabular fractures.Method. This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Cipto Mangunkusumo acquiring medical records of acetabular fracture patients from 2010-2020, with or without quadrilateral plate involvemen. This study analyzed functional outcomes (Harris Hip Score, Merle D'Aubigne, and Oxford Hip Score), radiological outcomes and quality of life of both study groups.Results. There were 53 subjects; 28 (52.8%) had fractures of the acetabulum with involvement of the quadrilateral plate while 23 (47.2%) without involvement of the quadrilateral plate. There were significant differences in functional, radiological, and quality of life outcomes between the acetabular fracture groups with and without quadrilateral plate involvement at 1 month, 6 months, and 12 months based on Harris Hip Score, Merle D'Aubigne, Oxford Hip Score, Matta Outcome Grading, and SF-36. Conclusion. There were significant differences in functional, radiological, and quality of life outcomes between the acetabulum fracture groups with and without quadrilateral plate involvement at 1 month, 6 months, and 12 months postoperatively.
