Masalah dalam penelitian ini diketahui adanya penurun jumlah wisatawan dan pendapatan masyarakat pada destinasi wisata Taman Arkeologi Onrust. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis daya tarik wisata di kawasan cagar budaya di Pulau Cipir, 2) Menganalisis kualitas pelayanan pariwisata yang berada di Pulau Cipir, 3) Menganalisis pengaruh jumlah wisatawan Pulau Cipir terhadap pendapatan masyarakat, dan 4) Menyusun konsep ekowisata sebagai upaya menciptakan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan di Pulau Cipir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mix methods). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan edukasi sejarah dari Taman Arkeologi Onrust tidak cukup memikat daya tarik wisatawan. Diperlukan kegiatan lainnya untuk mendatangkan wisatawan sebagai contoh memanfaatkan wisata yang berada di Pulau Cipir. Memanfaatkan pantai yang dimiliki oleh Pulau Cipir dapat menjadi ekowisata bagi wisatawan. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah suatu destinasi di kawasan cagar budaya dapat bertahan jika terdapat nilai ekonomi yang diperoleh masyarakat setempat dan juga nilai edukasi yang diterima oleh wisatawan yang berkunjung.

The problem in this study is known to be a decrease in the number of tourists and a decrease in community income and regional budget revenue at the Onrust Archaeological Park tourist destination. The aims of this study were to: 1) Analyze tourist attractions in the cultural heritage area on Cipir Island, 2) Analyze the quality of tourism services on Cipir Island, 3) Analyze the effect of the number of tourists on Cipir Island on people's income, and 4) Develop the concept of ecotourism as a efforts to create sustainable tourism on Cipir Island. This study used a qualitative approach and the method used was a mixed method. The results of this study indicate that the historical education activities of the Onrust Archaeological Park are not sufficient to attract tourists. Other activities are needed to bring in tourists, for example, taking advantage of beach tourism on Cipir Island. T Utilizing the beach owned by Cipir Island can be ecotourism for tourists. The conclusion of this study is that a destination in a cultural heritage area can survive if there is economic value obtained by the local community and also educational value received by visiting tourists
