 Abstract

Indonesia, as a country that lies on the equator and is flanked by two large oceans, makes climate change occur relatively quickly, so climate resilience development is very important. The negative impacts that occur can be in the form of physical and material losses and opportunities for the loss of people's livelihoods. Climate change is also affecting the liquid waste treatment system, especially in areas that are often inundated by high tides, such as Penjaringan District, North Jakarta. North Jakarta has lower land than other DKI Jakarta areas, namely 0–2 meters above sea level. Thus, the possibility of being affected by sea level rise will be greater, and the problems faced include not only the improvement of the domestic liquid waste disposal system but also the planning of SPALs that are climate change resistant. Therefore, the purpose of this final project is to analyze the existing conditions of the domestic wastewater treatment system in North Jakarta and identify options for domestic wastewater treatment systems that can withstand sea level rise. The approach used is a qualitative one, obtained from previous research, field observations, and in-depth interviews with respondents. The results obtained showed that there was no domestic wastewater treatment carried out in RT5 and RW22, and in RW001, only 65% of respondents had latrines, with the suggested system being SPALD-S.
