Artikel ini menelaah rangkaian peristiwa konflik yang terjadi pada organisasi Persatuan Sepak bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) Era Nurdin Halid hingga La Nyalla Mattalitti pada 2010-2016. Dimulai dari konflik dengan Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kemenpora) Andi Mallarangeng di tahun 2010 terkait dualisme liga, hingga pembekuan PSSI oleh Kemenpora Imam Nahrawi pada 2015. Dalam setiap konflik yang terjadi, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) sebagai badan sepak bola dunia juga membantu mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada organisasi PSSI. Akan tetapi, saat PSSI dibekukan oleh Kemenpora yang berarti hal ini bertentangan dengan Statuta FIFA, membuat FIFA juga ikut membekukan PSSI di tingkat internasional sampai Kemenpora mencabut pembekuan PSSI. Hal ini mengakibatkan kompetisi maupun liga yang diadakan oleh PSSI menjadi terhenti termasuk Tim Nasional yang tidak bisa berkompetisi di ajang internasional. Artikel ini bertujuan sebagai pengingat bahwa sepak bola Indonesia pernah mengalami masa-masa kelam akibat adanya intervensi pemerintah yang memiliki kepentingan politik sehingga menimbulkan konflik yang berujung pada pembekuan PSSI. Artikel ini ditulis menggunakan metode sejarah dengan sumber berupa dokumen SK Menpora Nomor 01307 Tahun 2015 dan SK Menpora Nomor 14 Tahun 2016, surat kabar sezaman, buku, artikel jurnal, dan artikel daring. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditemukan bahwa terdapat unsur politik dalam setiap konflik yang terjadi pada PSSI Era Nurdin Halid hingga La Nyalla Mattalitti.

This article examines the series of conflict events that occurred in the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) from the Nurdin Halid Era to La Nyalla Mattalitti in 2010-2016. Starting from the conflict with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) Andi Mallarangeng in 2010 regarding the dualism of the league, to the freezing of PSSI by the Kemenpora Imam Nahrawi in 2015. In every conflict that occurs, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) as world football governing body also help overcome problems that occur in the PSSI organization. However, when PSSI was frozen by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this meant that this was against the FIFA Statutes, making FIFA also freeze PSSI at the international level until the Ministry of Youth and Sports lifted the suspension of PSSI. This resulted in competitions and leagues held by PSSI being stopped including the National Team which could not compete in international events. This article aims to serve as a reminder that Indonesian football has experienced dark times due to government intervention that has political interests, causing conflict which led to the freezing of PSSI. This article was written using the historical method with sources in the form of Menpora Decree Number 01307 of 2015 and Menpora Decree Number 14 of 2016, contemporary newspapers, books, journal articles, and online media. From the results of this study it can be found that there is a political element in every conflict that occurred in the PSSI Era Nurdin Halid to La Nyalla Mattalitti.
