Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan prinsip jadwal retensi arsip elektronik pada sistem kearsipan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini menjelaskan identifikasi kesesuaian penerapan prinsip jadwal retensi arsip elektronik di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dengan 15 prinsip penerapan JRA elektronik oleh Smallwood. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian retensi arsip elektronik di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan berdasarkan 15 prinsip JRA elektronik oleh Smallwood menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 13 prinsip yang dipahami, diketahui, dan diterapkan oleh penata arsip, sedangkan 2 prinsip lainnya tidak diketahui oleh penata arsip di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Namun temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan dengan kondisi di Indonesia, dimana letak Prinsip 13 menjadi Prinsip 14, begitu juga sebaliknya. Di Indonesia, prinsip 14 terlebih dahulu harus dilakukan untuk menentukan kewenangan internalnya mulai dari unit teratas menuju unit bawah. This research aims to identify the application of the principle of the electronic archive retention schedule to the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan filling system. This study describes the identification of the suitability of the application of the principle of the electronic record retention schedule at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan with the 15 principles of implementing the electronic JRA by Smallwood. This research aims to identify the application of the electronic archive retention schedule principle to the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan filling system. This study describes the identification schedule at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan with the 15 principles of implementing the electronic JRA by Smallwood. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The method of data collection is done using interview techniques. The results of research on electronic record retention at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan based on 15 principles of Smallwood’s electronic JRA show that 13 principles are understood, known, and applied by the  archive manager, while the archive manager at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan does not know the other two principles. However, this study’s findings indicate differences from conditions in Indonesia, where Principle 13 becomes Principle 14 and vice versa. In Indonesia, principle 14 must first be carried out to determine internal authority starting from the top unit to the bottom unit. Furthermore, principle 13 can be carried out to determine the functionality of the tasks and responsibilities in each unit.
