Perpustakaan Unika Atma Jaya sebagai pusat belajar dituntut mampu memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya. Dalam rangka memenuhi tuntutan tersebut, evaluasi koleksi diperlukan untuk melihat sejauh mana mampu memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya terutama dalam penyusunan tesis. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis sitasi dilakukan pada tesis di 9 Program Magister dalam lingkungan Unika Atma Jaya kurun waktu 2016-2018. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa pemanfaatan buku dan jurnal oleh mahasiswa Program. Magister berimbang hanya terpaut kecil sekali (0,22%) padahal idealnya dalam tesis magister pemanfaatan jurnal lebih tinggi daripada buku mengingat informasi yang termuat didalamnya lebih mutakhir. Meskipun ketersediaan jurnal di Perpustakaan Unika Atma Jaya untuk penyusunan tesis mahasiswa Program Magister cukup tinggi (78.35% ) namun keadaan tersebut masih kurang ideal dalam penggunaan jurnal. Dalam penelitian ini diajukan saran kepada perpustakaan menambah langganan jurnal yang sesuai dengan cakupan bidang studi yang ada sebagai prioritas pertama.

The Atma Jaya Catholic University Library as a learning center is demanded to be able to meet the needs of its users. In order to meet these demands, a collection evaluation is needed to see how far it is able to meet the needs of its users, especially in the preparation of theses. The method used is citation analysis on theses in 9 Masters Programs within Atma Jaya Catholic University within the 2016-2018 period. In the study it was found that the use of books and journals by students of the Masters Program was balanced with only a very small difference (0.22%) whereas ideally in a master's thesis the use of journals is higher than books considering the information contained in them is more up-to-date. Even though the availability of journals at the Atma Jaya Catholic University Library for the preparation of Masters Program student theses is quite high (78.35%), this situation is still not ideal in the use of journals. In this study, suggestions were made to the library to add journal subscriptions that are in accordance with the existing scope of study as the first priority.
