 Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dampak karakteristik pesepeda dan tingkat bikeability menurut pesepeda terhadap konflik penggunaan jalan antara pesepeda dengan pengguna jalan lain. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dalam melakukan analisis digunakan teori-teori dan hasil berbagai penelitian terdahulu tentang karakteristik pesepeda, walkability dan bikeability suatu ruas jalan, sistem transportasi berkelanjutan di perkotaan, perencanaan infrastruktur bersepeda, serta konflik lalu lintas. Semakin bertambahnya jumlah pesepeda yang melintasi ruas Bundaran Senayan-Bundaran HI meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya volume kendaraan bermotor dan meningkatnya angka kecelakaan pesepeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara kombinasi beberapa karakteristik pesepeda dan tingkat bikeability di jalur sepeda terhadap terjadinya konflik penggunaan jalan antara pesepeda dan pengguna jalan lain. Kemajemukan dalam konteks kehidupan perkotaan membutuhkan seluruh warga untuk mengedepankan sikap saling menghargai dan toleransi agar tercipta kehidupan berkota yang aman, nyaman, dan inklusif.

This study was conducted to analyze the impact of cyclists' characteristics and the level of bikeability according to cyclists on road use conflicts between cyclists and other road users. The methods used were descriptive quantitative and qualitative. In conducting the analysis, theories and results of previous studies on cyclist characteristics, walkability and bikeability of road sections, sustainable urban transportation systems, cycling infrastructure planning, and traffic conflicts were used. The increasing number of cyclists crossing the Senayan-Bundaran HI Roundabout section increases along with the increasing volume of motor vehicles and the increasing number of cycling accidents. The results show that there is an influence between a combination of cyclists' characteristics, lack of road safety support factors, and traffic complexity on bicycle lanes on the occurrence of road use conflicts between cyclists and other road users. Diversity in the context of urban life requires all citizens to prioritize mutual respect and tolerance to create a safe, comfortable, and inclusive urban life.
