Operasi merupakan suatu prosedur medis yang bertujuan untuk menyelamatkan jiwa, mencegah kecacatan dan mengurangi komplikasi. Infeksi luka operasi merupakan suatu kondisi komplikasi yang terjadi pada luka insisi akibat pembedahan. Perawat memiliki peran penting dalam praktek kesehatan serta dalam upaya pencegahan infeksi luka operasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analisis korelatif. Hasil penelitian dengan uji Fisher menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan perawat dengan sikap perawat dalam upaya pencegahan infeksi luka operasi. P value 0,000 < dari 0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara dua variabel tersebut.

Surgery is a medical procedure that aims to save lives, prevent disability and reduce complications. Wound infection is a condition that occurs in complications due to surgical incision. Nurse have important role in the practice of health and in the prevention of surgical site infections. This research is quantitative research design correlativ analysis. The result of the study with Fisher test concluded, there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses with the attitude of nurses in the prevention of surgical site infections. Pvalue result 0,000 less than 0,05, which mean there is a relationship between two variables.
