Penelitian ini membahas tentang sexual capital yang dipakai untuk mencapai mobilitas dan gaya hidup para perempuan dalam industri hiburan malam di Bali melalui jalinan relasi pacaran yang mereka alami bersama pria asing. Kajian ini merupakan kajian mengenai perempuan, sosiologi budaya dan juga mobilitas sosial. Perempuan dalam penelitian ini dilihat sebagai aktor utama yang berperan dalam keputusannya sendiri akan pilihan-pilihan yang tersedia untuk mengalami perubahan status sosial-ekonomi yang berujung pada peningkatan gaya hidup yang mereka alami. Secara khusus, peneliti menemukan pola atau pattern dari para informan tersebut mengenai peluang macam apa yang mereka harapkan dan (atau) alami ketika menjalin hubungan dengan pria asing khusunya pria barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif.

This research discusses about sexual capital which being used to reach Social Mobility and Lifestyle by women in Bali enterteinment night industry through dating relationship with the foreign men. Basicly, the type of social-economic mobility is different on each individual, it is because the meaning of the better life is different to every person. This research is about women, sociology of ethnicity, and also social mobility. Women in this research seen by the main actor whose their decision is choosen by themself along with the other choices they have. This will lead them into the change of social-economic status which affected their lifestyle side. In the end, the choices they have is the choice to be with the western men, in this case, be in a realtionship with them. Specifically, researcher has found a pattern from these women about what kind of chances which they want to get to and (or) they already had when getting along in a relationship with those western man. This research is a descriptive research and using qualitative method
