Pekerjaan Erection Girder merupakan pekerjaan konstruksi beresiko tinggi yang menuntut kontraktor pelaksana untuk mematuhi standard dan peraturan yang berlaku guna melaksanakan pekerjaan yang aman. Dalam Proyek Pembangunan Akses Simpang Tak Sebidang (STS) Martadinata terdapat pekerjaan Erection Girder dengan tipe PCI dengan bentang 40.6 m sebanyak 5 buah pada lokasi Overpas Bukit Indah. Metode pelaksanaan pengangkatan menggunakan crane dengan jenis Crawler dengan kapasitas angkat 250 Ton sebanyak 2 buah. Setelah dilakukan Review untuk menjaga stabilitas girder, perlu dipastikan bahwa aspek – aspek penunjang harus terpenuhi yaitu pengecekan nilai Camber yang didapatkan sebesar 73 mm, 57mm, 41 mm, 56 mm dan 44 mm serta nilai Deformasi Lateral sebesar 16 mm, 26 mm, 34 mm, 35 mm dan 45 mm. Selain itu dalam perhitungan Safery Factor didapatkan nilai Crane Ratio sebesar 2.9 , Safety Factor Shacle sebesar 19.95 dan Safety Factor Sling sebesar 17.57. Dari segi keamanan bracing, terdapat rekomendasi atas penggunaan Bracing atau pengaku pada Girder berupa leverblock pada bagian tumpuan girder dengan penggunaan 2 turnbuckles untuk memastikan keseimbangan pengencangan chainblock, baja siku yang di ikat dengan tieroad dan dilas dengan angkur pada abutment, bracing menggunakan baja yang dikaitkan antar girder, serta bracing silang menggunakan besi yang di las antar girder.

In terms of bracing safety, there are recommendations for the use of bracing or stiffeners on girders in the form of leverblocks at the support of the girder with the use of 2 turnbuckles to ensure the balance of chainblock tensioning, steel angles tied with tieroads and welded with anchors on the abutments, bracing using steel that is linked between girders, as well as cross bracing using iron welded between the girders.
