PBF harus memiliki sertifikat CDOB CCP untuk memastikan bahwa kualitas obat CCP ketika proses distribusi sudah sesuai persyaratan. Dalam rangka memastikan proses distribusi Cold Chain Product (CCP) yang baik dan benar, maka perlu dilakukan validasi pengiriman Cold Chain Product (CCP). Pada PT Era Caring Indonesia, dilakukan validasi pengiriman CCP sesuai dengan Pedoman CDOB menggunakan kotak berbahan styrofoam yang didalamnya diletakkan 5 buah water pack untuk menjaga suhu, dan temperature data logger untuk mencatat suhu selama pengiriman. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan 5 water pack untuk mempertahankan suhu 2-8℃ pada proses pengiriman Cold Chain Product (CCP) selama waktu tertentu. Berdasarkan data hasil validasi pengiriman dengan menggunakan styrofoam box yang diisi dengan 5 water pack, menunjukkan suhu rereta yang tercatat selama 8 jam yaitu 4,82℃. Dengan suhu terendah tercatat pada 3,8℃ dan suhu tertinggi pada 5,9℃. Dari data ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi pengiriman produk rantai dingin menggunakan styrofoam box yang diisi dengan 5 water pack memenuhi syarat CDOB yaitu suhu produk dapat dipertahankan pada rentang suhu 2 - 8℃ selama waktu pengiriman terjauh PT. Era Caring Indonesia adalah 2-3 jam. Dengan terjaganya suhu produk rantai dingin selama pengiriman pada 2 - 8℃ dapat dipastikan bahwa kualitas produk rantai dingin tetap terjaga.
