Bahan kemas adalah tiap bahan, termasuk bahan cetak, yang digunakan dalam proses pengemasan obat, tetapi tidak termasuk kemasan luar yang digunakan untuk transportasi atau keperluan pengiriman ke luar pabrik. Bahan kemas hendaklah sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan. Bahan kemas yang tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi akan ditolak untuk mencegah penggunaannya dalam proses di mana bahan tersebut tidak sesuai. Salah satu dokumen yang memuat spesifikasi bahan kemas yang menyatakan standar dan toleransi yang diperbolehkan dalam bentuk deskriptif dan numeris adalah dokumen proof print. Setiap produk memiliki dokumen proof print yang terdiri dari bahan-bahan kemas dari produk itu sendiri. Namun, pada penyimpanan dokumen proof print di PT Mahakam Beta Farma masih belum efektif. Penyimpanan yang masih belum efektif menimbulkan banyak permasalahan, sehingga diperlukan metode penyimpanan baru dengan menggabungkan semua proof print dari bahan kemas suatu produk dalam satu map yang diberi nama sesuai nama produk dan menyimpan proof print yang telah digabung sesuai dengan urutan alfabetis. Hasil dari penggabungan semua proof print dari bahan kemas suatu produk membuat penyimpanan proof print tersebut lebih efektif, yaitu tidak terlalu memerlukan banyak tempat, lebih rapi, dan dapat mencegah dokumen proof print mudah rusak.

The result of combining all proof prints from the packaging material of a product makes the storage of proof prints more effective, which does not require too much space, is neater, and can prevent proof print documents from being easily damaged.
