 Abstract

Arsitektur berkelanjutan mendorong pembangunan arsitektur hijau, salah satunya melalui sertifikasi green building. Pada sertifikasi green building, aspek yang diperhatikan salah satunya adalah kenyamanan dalam ruang, yang meliputi salah satunya tentang kenyamanan akustik. Namun, dalam praktiknya, kenyamanan akustik dalam bangunan hijau sering kali tidak mendapatkan perhatian yang cukup dikarenakan lebih mementingkan aspek keberlanjutan lain. Padahal, kenyamanan akustik harus diperhatikan untuk menjaga produktivitas dan kesehatan penghuni. Kenyamanan akustik setiap ruang memiliki kebutuhan berbeda-beda, khususnya ruang untuk berbicara seperti ruang kelas. Oleh karena itu, aspek yang penting dalam ruang kelas seperti speech intelligibility diperlukan untuk menciptakan ruang yang nyaman untuk kegiatan percakapan belajar mengajar. Dengan mengukur komponen yang mempengaruhi speech intelligibility seperti background noise, sound pressure level, signal to noise ratio, noise criteria dan speech transmission index pada studi kasus ruang kelas SD Negeri 08 Ragunan, didapatkan hasil pengukuran akustik yang mengindikasikan desain akustik untuk mencapai speech intelligibility yang sesuai dengan fungsi ruang untuk berbicara belum sepenuhnya diterapkan.

Sustainable architecture encourages the development of green architecture, one of which is through green building certification. In green building certification, one aspect that is considered is indoor comfort, which includes acoustic comfort. However, in practice, acoustic comfort in green buildings often does not receive enough attention because of other aspects of sustainability even though acoustic comfort must be considered to maintain the productivity and health of occupants. The acoustic comfort of each room has different needs, especially rooms for speech such as classrooms. Therefore, important aspects in the classroom such as speech intelligibility are needed to create a comfortable space for conversation involving teaching and learning activities. By measuring components that influence speech intelligibility such as background noise, sound pressure level, signal to noise ratio, noise criteria and speech transmission index in the case study of the classroom at 08 Ragunan Public Elementary School, acoustic measurement results were obtained which indicate the acoustic design achieving good speech intelligibility of rooms for speech has not been fully implemented.
