Terdapat kenaikan permintaan terhadap mobil baru di Indonesia beberapa tahun belakangan ini. Hal ini tentunya sejalan dengan kenaikan permintaan terhadap showroom mobil, sehingga konstruksi showroom mobil menjadi hal yang penting untuk dilakukan. Dalam desain showroom mobil diperlukan suatu sistem struktur yang memiliki bentang lebar pada ruang pertemuan, hall, lobby, dan ruang display. Disinilah post-tensioned (PT) flat slab hadir menyelesaikan permasalahan tadi, karena jenis pelat ini dapat digunakan untuk bentang yang lebih panjang dari struktur beton konvensional sehingga lebih cocok untuk digunakan pada bangunan showroom mobil yang membutuhkan bentang lebar. Pada penelitian ini digunakan studi kasus bangunan showroom mobil dua lantai yang berlokasi di Depok. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode FEM (finite element method) dengan bantuan software ETABS V20 untuk memodelkan struktur bangunannya. Struktur akan dibandingkan respon gempanya menggunakan dua metode analisa gempa dinamik yaitu respon spektrum dan linear time history. Ditemukan bahwa untuk semua respon gempa (story drift, story displacement, story shear, overturning moment), metode respon spektrum memberikan respon yang lebih besar pada kedua arah X dan Y. Untuk perbandingan antara struktur konvensional dan PT flat slab ditemukan bahwa struktur PT flat slab memberikan respon gempa yang lebih besar, dan harga (biaya) material yang lebih murah dibandingkan dengan struktur konvensional.

There has been an increase in demand for new cars in Indonesia in recent years. This trend correlates with the rising demand for car showrooms, making the construction of these showrooms crucial. The design of car showrooms requires a structural system with wide spans for meeting rooms, halls, lobbies, and display areas. This is where post-tensioned (PT) flat slabs come in to solve the aforementioned issues, as these slabs can be used for longer spans compared to conventional concrete structures, making them more suitable for wide-span showroom buildings. In this study, a two-story car showroom located in Depok was chosen as a case study. The analytical method employed in this research is the Finite Element Method (FEM) using ETABS V20 software to model the building structure. The structure's seismic response will be compared using two dynamic earthquake analysis methods: response spectrum and linear time history analysis. It was found that for all seismic responses (story drift, story displacement, story shear, overturning moment), the response spectrum method yields larger responses in both X and Y directions. Comparing conventional structures with PT flat slabs, it was found that PT flat slabs exhibit larger seismic responses but offer cheaper material costs compared to conventional structures.
