Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana praktik eksploitasi pekerja kreatif yang dibentuk oleh budaya kerja fleksibel. Melalui penelitian ini saya akan mengkaji bagaimana sistem kerja fleksibel membuat banyak pekerja kreatif justru semakin rentan terkena praktik eksploitasi. Pada literatur terdahulu maraknya praktik eksploitasi terhadap pekerja kreatif disebabkan oleh sistem kerja fleksibel yang menciptakan ketidakpastian terhadap pekerjaan mereka. Dengan meningkatnya perekonomian masyarakat membuat permintaan konsumen terhadap suatu produk semakin tinggi yang membuat produsen atau pemilik modal membentuk sistem kerja baru di dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu sistem kerja fleksibel. Terciptanya normalisasi budaya kerja yang fleksibel dipengaruhi oleh struktur kelas dimana kelompok pekerja kreatif dipaksa untuk mengikuti sistem kerja yang sudah dibentuk oleh kelompok pemilik modal. Terciptanya budaya kerja yang fleksibel membuat terbentuknya fleksploitasi diantara para para pekerja kreatif di Indonesia. Fleksploitasi membuat banyak pekerja kreatif di Indonesia menjadi rawan terkena praktik eksploitasi seperti jam kerja waktu yang tidak tentu, beban kerja yang abstrak, dan upah hasil kerja yang tidak sesuai. Akan tetapi, masih sedikit penelitian terdahulu yang mencoba membahas bagaimana pengaruh budaya kerja yang fleksibel menjadi salah satu faktor maraknya praktik eksploitasi pekerja kreatif di Indonesia.

This research aims to analyze how the exploitation of creative workers is shaped by flexible work culture. Through this study, I will examine how the flexible work system makes many creative workers increasingly vulnerable to exploitation practices. Previous literature has indicated that the widespread exploitation of creative workers is caused by a flexible work system that creates uncertainty about their employment. With the increase in economic prosperity, consumer demand for products has risen, leading producers or capital owners to establish new work systems to address this issue, namely flexible work systems. The normalization of flexible work culture is influenced by class structure, where creative worker groups are forced to follow work systems established by capital-owning groups. The creation of a flexible work culture has led to "flexploitation" among creative workers in Indonesia. Flexploitation causes many creative workers in Indonesia to become prone to exploitation practices such as uncertain working hours, abstract workloads, and inadequate compensation. However, there is still little previous research that attempts to discuss how flexible work culture becomes one of the factors behind the prevalence of exploitation practices among creative workers in Indonesia.
