Pijat punggung dilakukan sebagai manipulasi jaringan lunak tubuh yang membantu mengendurkan ketegangan otot di punggung karena rangsangan dari pelepasan hormon endorfin guna mengurangi rasa cemas dan meringkan rasa sakit sehingga menimbulkan relaksasi dan kenyamanan bagi ibu postpartum. Ketika ibu merasakan energi positif dari kenyamanan yang dirasakan berupa rasa rileks dan rasa bahagia, respon tersebut akan dikirim ke bagian hipotalamus untuk merangsang hipofisis posterior sehingga tubuh memproduksi hormon oksitosin dan endorfin yang membantu pengeluaran ASI untuk membantu efektifitas menyusui. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian, pasien belum memiliki riwayat menyusui sebelumnya, dan berniat untuk menyusui anak pertamanya. Masalah keperawatan utama yang muncul adalah kesiapan peningkatan menyusui. Masalah yang terjadi selama proses perawatan salah satunya yaitu pengeluaran ASI belum adekuat. Tujuan dari penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah menganalisis asuhan keperawatan pada ibu postpartum dengan masalah kurangnya produksi ASI. Hasil analisis setelah dilakukan intervensi pijat punggung yaitu memperlihatkan bahwa adanya proses menyusui yang efektif dipantau menggunakan indikator ibu dan indikator bayi yang meliputi, pemantauan berat badan bayi, frekuensi Buang Air Kecil (BAK) dan karakteristiknya, frekuensi Buang Air Besar (BAB) dan karakteristiknya, serta frekuensi menyusu. Karya tulis ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan pengelolaan pasien postpartum untuk meningkatkan efektifitas laktasi dengan masalah tidak adekuatnya pengeluaran ASI.

Back massage is a manipulation of the soft tissues of the body that helps relax muscle tension in the back due to stimulation from the release of endorphins to reduce anxiety and relieve pain so as to cause relaxation and comfort for postpartum women. When the mother feels positive energy from the comfort felt in the form of relaxation and happiness, the response will be sent to the hypothalamus to stimulate the posterior pituitary so that the body produces the hormones oxytocin and endorphins that help milk production to help breastfeeding effectiveness. Based on the assessment results, the patient has no previous history of breastfeeding, and intends to breastfeed her first child. The main nursing problem that arose was readiness to increase breastfeeding. One of the problems that occurred during the treatment process was inadequate breast milk production. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to analyze nursing care for postpartum mothers with the problem of lack of breast milk production. The results of the analysis after the back massage intervention showed that there was an effective breastfeeding process monitored using maternal indicators and infant indicators which included monitoring the baby's weight, frequency of urination (BAK) and its characteristics, frequency of defecation (BAB) and its characteristics, and frequency of breastfeeding. This paper is expected to be a reference for the management of postpartum patients to improve lactation effectiveness with the problem of inadequate milk production.
