Skripsi ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari peran koridor jalan kampung kota terhadap sense of community penduduk. Sense of Community merupakan perasaan memiliki individu terhadap suatu komunitas. Salah satu definisi komunitas adalah sekumpulan individu yang tinggal di wilayah yang sama sehingga tempat tinggal penduduk dapat mempengaruhi sense of community. Kampung kota sebagai salah satu jenis permukiman yang ada di kota-kota Indonesia memiliki karakteristik berbeda dengan permukiman terencana. Permukiman ini tidak memiliki ruang terbuka yang cukup sehingga memanfaatkan koridor jalan untuk melakukan aktivitas dan interaksi sosial. Koridor jalan menjadi ruang yang penting dalam kehidupan penduduk kampung kota.

This thesis aims to find out the role of the alleyway of kampung kota towards the resident's sense of community. Sense of community is a feeling of belonging to an individual towards a community. One of the community's definitions is a group of individuals who live in the same area so that the environment where the residents live can affects their sense of community. Kampung kota as one type of settlement in Indonesian city has different characteristics from the planned settlement. This settlement does not have enough open space, so residents use the alley to carry out their activities and social interactions. The corridor is an important space for kampung kota residents.
