Tulisan ini menganalisis bagaimana teknologi Blockchain dapat melindungi Data Pemilik Manfaat dalam konteks Perseroan. Tulisan ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode penelitian normatif. Teknologi blockchain perlu dipertimbangkan oleh pemerintah untuk mengganti teknologi konvensional yang saat ini digunakan. Saat ini, Data Pemilik Manfaat pada sebuah korporasi dapat diakses melalui aplikasi atau website yang disediakan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Administrasi Hukum Umum dibawah Kementerian Hukum dan HAM, namun ketika peneliti menyusun tesis ini, peneliti masih dapat melihat Data Pemilik Manfaat dari sebuah korporasi yang seharusnya tidak terbuka untuk umum, karena Data Pemilik Manfaat merupakan data yang dilindungi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi, serta beberapa peraturan lainnya. Sampai saat ini belum ada peraturan yang mengatur mengenai teknologi Blockchain dan masih banyak pertimbangan-pertimbangan untuk menggunakan teknologi Blockchain tersebut.

This article analyzes how Blockchain technology can protect Beneficial Owner Data in the context of the Corporation. This article was prepared using normative research methods. Blockchain technology needs to be considered by the government to replace the conventional technology currently used. Currently, beneficial owner data on a corporation can be accessed through an application or website provided by the Directorate General of General Legal Administration under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, however, when the researcher wrote this thesis, the researcher was still able to see beneficial owner data from a corporation which should not be open. for the public, because Beneficial Owner Data is data that is protected by Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, as well as several other regulations. Until now there are no regulations governing Blockchain technology and there are still many considerations for using Blockchain technology.
