Pendahuluan: Penilaian triase pasien oleh perawat harus dilakukan secara cepat dan tepat, sehingga dapat meminimalkan angka kesakitan, kecacatan bahkan kematian pasien. Pengetahuan, keterampilan perawat dan kecepatan (response time) dalam melakukan tindakan triase adalah salah satu kunci dalam keberhasilan pelayanan di instalasi gawat darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan, persepsi keterampilan triase dan response time tindakan perawat dalam melakukan pelayanan kegawatdaruratan di Instalasi Gawat Darurat Rumah Sakit X. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif cross-sectional. Total sampling digunakan pada variabel tingkat pengetahuan dan persepsi keterampilan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 54 responden melalui kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Metode purposive sampling pada variabel response time diambil dari populasi rata-rata jumlah kunjungan pasien setiap bulan didapatkan sebanyak 107 sampel response time tindakan dengan cara observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat memiliki tingkat pengetahuan (51,9%) dan persepsi keterampilan triase (53,7%) pada kategori baik dengan response time 60,7% kategori cepat. Rekomendasi: Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi perawat perlu dilakukan secara berkala oleh pihak rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan di instalasi gawat darurat, salah satunya meningkatkan response time tindakan triase oleh perawat.

Introduction: Patient triage assessment by nurses must be carried out quickly and accurately, in order to minimize patient morbidity, disability, and even mortality. Nurses' knowledge, skills, and response time  in carrying out triage actions are one of the keys to successful services in emergency installations. This study aims to analyze the knowledge, perception of triage skills and response time of nurses' actions in providing emergency services at the Emergency Installation of X Hospital.

Method: This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design. Total sampling was used on the variables of knowledge level and skill perception, obtaining a sample of 54 respondents through inclusion and exclusion criteria. The purposive sampling method for the response time variable was taken from the average population of the number of patient visits each month, obtaining 107 response time samples using the observation method. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis.

Results: The study showed that most nurses had a level of knowledge (51.9%) and perception of triage skills (53.7%) in the good category with a response time of (60.7%) in the fast category.

Recommendation: Increasing the knowledge and skills of nurses through education and training for nurses needs to be carried out periodically by the hospital to improve the quality of nursing services in emergency installations, one of which is increasing the response time for triage actions by nurses.
