 Abstract

Kemudahan akses internet dan media sosial telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan remaja masa kini. Namun, penggunaan internet yang berlebihan dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya cyberbullying. Cyberbullying merupakan bentuk kekerasan digital yang semakin marak di kalangan remaja dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya keterlibatan orang tua dan interaksi dengan teman sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan interaksi teman sebaya dengan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitik korelasional dengan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional), yang dilaksanakan secara luring melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Sebanyak 218 remaja dari SMAN 78 Jakarta dan SMPN 268 Jakarta berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi Revised Cyberbullying Inventory II, The Parent-Child Interaction Questionnaire, dan Friendship Quality Scale. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterlibatan orang tua dengan perilaku cyberbullying (p < 0,05). Keterlibatan orang tua berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku remaja di ranah digital. Diperlukan kolaborasi antara orang tua, sekolah, dan tenaga kesehatan untuk mencegah perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja.

Easy access to the internet and social media has become an integral part of adolescents' daily lives. However, excessive internet use increases the risk of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a form of digital violence that is increasingly prevalent among adolescents and is influenced by various factors, including parental involvement and peer interaction. This study aimed to examine the relationship between parental involvement and peer interaction with cyberbullying behavior among adolescents in Jakarta. A correlational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted offline using questionnaires. A total of 218 adolescents from SMAN 78 Jakarta and SMPN 268 Jakarta participated in the study. The instruments used were the Revised Cyberbullying Inventory II, the Parent-Child Interaction Questionnaire, and the Friendship Quality Scale. A significant relationship was found between parental involvement and cyberbullying behavior (p < 0.05). Parental involvement plays an important role in shaping adolescent behavior in the digital realm. Collaboration between families, schools, and health professionals is essential in preventing cyberbullying among adolescents.
