This thesis provides a complete performance analysis of load balancers in Prometheus-based Apache CloudStack setups. As cloud computing evolves, the effectiveness of load balancing techniques becomes critical in guaranteeing optimal resource usage and service reliability. Using Prometheus for monitoring and metric collecting, this study seeks to assess the performance of several load balancer configurations implemented in Apache CloudStack, and also providing analysis as to why load balancer can increase the efficiency of traffic distribution by up to 23%."

Sensitivitas sensor adalah 107,8940025 μA.ng.mL-1.cm-2.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide and contributes significantly to cancer-related deaths in men. Early detection of prostate cancer using prostate specific antigen (PSA) is crucial for effective treatment and cure of patients. This research aims to design and develop a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based electrochemical biosensor for PSA detection using a graphite pencil electrode (PGE) modified with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to enhance sensor performance. Morphological characterization was conducted using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), while electrochemical characterization employed cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods. The developed sensor has a detection limit of 0.568 ng/mL, with a linear range of 0.01–4 ng/mL. The sensor's sensitivity is 107.8940025 μA.ng.mL-1.cm-2. Selectivity tests showed good results with BSA, glucose, and dopamine. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for reproducibility is 13.8897%, and stability decreased by 56% on the 5th day, indicating areas for improvement in these aspects. Based on the study results, the MIP biosensor based on PGE with MWCNT modification demonstrates effective PSA detection capability and holds potential for clinical applications in early prostate cancer detection due to its sufficient sensitivity."

"In many penetration tests, there is a lot of useful information to be gathered from the radios used by organizations. These radios can include two-way radios used by guards, wireless headsets, cordless phones and wireless cameras. Wireless Reconnaissance in Penetration Testing describes the many ways that a penetration tester can gather and apply the information available from radio traffic. Stopping attacks means thinking like an attacker, and understanding all the ways that attackers gather information, or in industry terms profile, specific targets. With information from what equipment to use and how to find frequency information, to tips for reducing radio information leakage, to actual case studies describing how this information can be used to attack computer systems, this book is the go-to resource for penetration testing and radio profiling. Author Matthew Neely is a respected and well-known expert and speaker on radio reconnaissance and penetration testingIncludes real-world case studies of actual penetration tests using radio profiling. Covers data leakage, frequency, attacks, and information gathering."

"Over the past two decades the benefits of label-free biosensor analysis have begun to make an impact in the market, and systems are beginning to be used as mainstream research tools in many drug discovery laboratories. Label-free technologies for drug discovery summarises the latest and emerging developments in label-free detection systems, their underlying technology principles and end-user case studies that reveal the power and limitations of label-free in all areas of drug discovery.
Label-free technologies discussed include SPR, NMR, high-throughput mass spectrometry, resonant waveguide plate-based screening, transmitted-light imaging, isothermal titration calorimetry, optical and impedance cell-based assays and other biophysical methods. The technologies are discussed in relation to their use as screening technologies, high-content technologies, hit finding and hit validation strategies, mode of action and ADME/T, access to difficult target classes, cell-based receptor/ligand interactions particularly orphan receptors, and antibody and small molecule affinity and kinetic analysis. Label-Free Technologies For Drug Discovery is an essential guide to this emerging class of tools for researchers in drug discovery and development, particularly high-throughput screening and compound profiling teams, medicinal chemists, structural biologists, assay developers, ADME/T specialists, and others interested in biomolecular interaction analysis."

"Since the end of the Cold War there has been an explosion of international courts and tribunals that sit apart from domestic legal systems, yet they are often woefully inadequate for their stated purposes. This book explores common problems across these courts, and applies a constructivist theory of international relations to explain their operation. Often established by states as signals of their commitment to moral values and political ideology, once created these courts find themselves trapped between the interests of the Great Powers. Some endure irrelevance, their judgements ignored. Yet more are unusably slow. Still others exhibit demonstrable political bias. Their common failings suggest that international law is not nearly as robust as it claims. The author skilfully shows that international courts are a species of international organisation, and share the same challenges of bureaucracy and unaccountability as have plagued the United Nations. Mirages of International Justice will be of particular interest to scholars and practitioners interested in critiques of the European Court of Human Rights, the World Trade Organisation, investment treaty arbitration, the EU courts, the international criminal courts, the International Court of Justice and public international law in general. Students of international relations and advocates for reform of international organisations will also learn much from this insightful study"
