"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses produksi kapal pinisi pelat datar dengan membandingan proses produksi kapal tersebut dengan kapal pinisi. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka analisis yang akan dilakukan perbandingan dari desain kapal phinisi, proses produksi, material, SDM, dan biasa. . Dari perhitungan diatas maka didapatkan proses produksi kapal pelat datar yang sudah di plot yaitu 72 hari,-. Alasan itulah penulis mencoba meneliti mengenai pembuatan proses produksi kapal phinisi pelat datar ukuran 17 meter sehingga dapat menghasilkan sebuah sistem produksi kapal pelat datar. Sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan dalam produksi kapal pelat datar selanjutnya.

The purpose of this research is to know the process of production of flat hull ship by comparing the production productivity of the ship with the other phinisi. To achieve these objectives then the analysis will be done comparison of phinisi ship design, production productivity, materials, human resources, and ordinary. From the above calculation then got how many days of comparison of production productivity that is 72 days. That reason the author tries to investigate the making of the production process of 17 meter flat plate ship so as to produce an efficient flat plate vessel production system. So it can be used as a reference in the production of the next flat plate vessel."

Tewnwork adalah bentuk terapan dari Aliansi atau partnership tersebut untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas atau masalah mereka.Dalam studi kasus ini dicari faktor hambatan komunikasi yang paling sering terjadi dalam teamwork dengan partner asing pada pekerjaan Engineering design. Tahap Engineering design merupakan tahap yang cukup kritis karena kualitas design sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap biaya, mutu, dan waktu proyek secara keseluruhan. Untuk itu diperlukan tim kerja (teamwork) yang baik untuk mengeksekusi tahap Engineering design ini.Ada 5 faktor utama yang menghambat komunikasi dalam teamwork yaitu (1) Filtering. (2) Selective Perception. (3) Information overload. (4) Defensiveness. dan (5) Language. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa faktor language (bahasa) menduduki faktor hambatan komunikasi yang paling banyak terjadi dalam teamwork dengan partner asing.

It-s required corporate strategy to make the company still exist.Strategic alliance or partnership with other company (especially with foreign company) is the one of alternative to increase company competency. Teamwork is an applied form of its strategic alliance or partnership in order to perform their works or problems.In this case study. we would like to find out communication barrier factor that the most frequencies happen in teamwork with foreign partner for Engineering design work. Work phase of Engineering design is a critical due to design quality has big impact on cost. quality. and time (schedule) of the project overall. Therefore the good teamwork is needed to execute the work in this Engineering design phase.There are 5 main factors that become communication barrier in the teamwork are (1) Filtering. (2) Selective Perception, (3) Information overload. (4) Defensiveness. and (5) Language. Research has found that a "language" has more frequent happen in a communication barrier in teamwork with foreign partner."
