"This book will introduce design methodologies, known as Built-in-Self-Test (BiST) and Built-in-Self-Calibration (BiSC), which enhance the robustness of radio frequency (RF) and millimeter wave (mmWave) integrated circuits (ICs). These circuits are used in current and emerging communication, computing, multimedia and biomedical products and microchips. The design methodologies presented will result in enhancing the yield (percentage of working chips in a high volume run) of RF and mmWave ICs which will enable successful manufacturing of such microchips in high volume."

Green building is the answer to all of the problems in the environment of living and world. Building is one of the most contributing industries to the environmental impact; it is also one of the most promising answers to solve the impacts their selves. The Green Building Council of Australia has developed Green Star-Office v3 Rating tool to promote sustainable construction and support the construction industry in the transition to implementing green building practice in a Class 5 office building construction. Using literature study approach the research concludes possible challenges and initiating responses for a project team to achieve a desired Green Star rating."

"Peristiwa meletus gunung semeru pada tanggal 4 desember 2021 yang memuntahkan lahar panas menciptakan tragedi yang besar bagi masyarakat Jawa Timur khususnya bagi Kabupaten Lumajang. Tragedi tersebut yaitu runtuhnya jembatan Gladak Perak yang menjadi penghubung masyarakat Malang dan Lumajang akibat terjangan lahar muntahan gunung semeru yang berulang tahun tepat 100 tahun. Dengan peristiwa tersebut pemerintah bertindak cepat melalui koordinasi Kementrian PUPR agar pembangun jembatan pengganti terselesaikan dalam waktu maksimum satu tahun melalui anggaran bencana alam (single year). Maka ditunjuk kontraktor melalui proyek design and build dan dilakukan alternatif disain sampai akhir diputus jembatan Rangka tipe Pratt panjang 140 meter. Dengan pertimbangan antara lain waktu pembangunan hanya dalam 12 bulan, metode konstruksi yang dapat datang lahar dingin, serta jika ada lahar yang besar, struktur atas dapat rusak sementara pondasi masih bisa dipertahankan sehingga jembatan dengan cepat dibangun kembali. Dalam rangka penulisan laporan praktek progam Keinsiyuran dengan judul di atas, maka ada beberapa komponen yang harus tercakup yaitu Etika Profesi Keinsinyuran, update bidang keilmuan terbaru, K3LL dan KEEI dalam mengatasi problem solving. Pada pelaksanaan pembangunan jembatan tersebut, ada beberapa aspek yang perlu menjadi perhatian yaitu aspek geometri, aspek geologi, aspek kegempaan, aspek hidrologi, aspek teknis, dan aspek waktu. Adapun solusi dari masing-masing aspek tersebut diselesaikan dengan solusi rekayasa yang memadai dan komprehensif sehingga pembangunan jembatan terselesaikan dengan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji laik fungsi pada struktur atas dan uji pembebanan pada struktur bawah memenuhi kaidah-kaidah yang berlaku.

The eruption of Mount Semeru on December 4 2021 created a big tragedy for the people of East Java, especially for the East Java district. The tragedy which was the collapse of Gladak Perak Brdge which a bridge that connect Malang and Lumajang region caused by the volcanic mudflows after Mount Semeru erupts. With this incident, the government acted quickly through the ranks of PU immediately instructed that a replacement bridgeare to be built immediately within one year through the natural disaster budget (Single Year). Furthermore, the government elect a contractor with design and build project and after some design alternatives then decided to build a 140m Pratt Bridge. With some consideration such as 1 year to construct, construction method that could withstand future mudflow, as well as if there is large mudflow, the superstructure can be damaged while the foundation can still be maintained so that the new bridge can be quickly rebuilt. In the context of writing a report on engineering practice with the title above, there are several components that must be covered such as engineering professional ethics, updates on the latest technology, and occupational health and safety in dealing with problem solving. In the construction phase, there are several aspects that need attention, namely geometric aspects, geological aspects, seismic aspects, hydrological aspects, technical aspects, and time aspects. The solutions for each of these aspects are resolved with adequate and comprehensive engineered solutions so that the construction bridge is completed properly. Those solution is tested by functional acceptance tests on the superstructure and loading tests on the substructure that comply with the applicable principles."
