"[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keterlibatan
(Engagement Rate) perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dan menganalisis strategi
perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam menerapkan Library 2.0 serta untuk
mengidentifikasi hambatan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam
menerapkan Library 2.0. Pendekatan dalam tesis ini menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus komparatif. Hasil
perhitungan tingkat keterlibatan didapatkan Perpustakaan Universitas
Indonesia menempati urutan pertama, Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah
Mada pada urutan kedua serta Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga pada
urutan ketiga. Penelitian ini memilih Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia
dan Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga menjadi lokasi penelitian, dimana
menghasilkan penelitian bahwa kedua perpustakaan telah memiliki strategi
dalam penerapan Library 2.0 yang diurai menurut komponen pembentuk
Library 2.0 yaitu partisipasi pengguna, web 2.0, perpustakaan dan layanan,
evaluasi dan kerjasama. Temuan yang lain kedua perpustakaan memiliki
strategi yang sama, di sisi lain ada juga strategi yang berbeda. Ketika salah
satu komponen lemah maka komponen lain lebih diperkuat.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze the Engagement Rate academic library and to
analyze strategies in implementing Library 2.0 as well as to identify barriers
in applying Library 2.0. The approach in this research uses a qualitative with a
comparative case study method. The Engagement Rate results University of
Indonesia Library ranks first, Gadjah Mada University Library in the second
and Airlangga University Library on the third. This research were conducted
in University of Indonesia Library and the Airlangga University Library,
which resulted that both libraries have had strategies in the implementing of
Library 2.0 which is parsed by forming components Library 2.0 are user
participation, Web 2.0, library and services, evaluation and cooperation.
Another finding is that both libraries have the same strategy, on the other hand
there are also different strategies. When one component is weak then the other

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang Rencana strategis komputerisasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Bengkulu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas serta efisiensi pemanfaatan komputerisasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Bengkulu. Berdasarkan pertanyaan penelitian, maka penelitian ini meninjau tiga aspek yaitu biaya, manfaat baik yang dapat dikuantifikasi atau efisiensi maupun yang tidak dapat dikuantifikasi atau efektifitas serta resiko. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan memanfaatkan Information Economics Analysis yang merupakan pengembangan dari Cost Benefit Analysis (Analisis biaya manfaat).
Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, biaya yang dibutuhkan / dikeluarkan untuk komputerisasi adalah lebih kecil dari manfaat yang akan diperoleh, serta perbandingan waktu proses dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan pada masing-masing bagian menunjukkan bahwa komputerisasi lebih cepat dan akurat apabila dibandingkan dengan sistem manual, ini berakibat pada peningkatan kinerja perpustakaan. Untuk manfaat yang tidak dapat dikuantifikasi atau efektifitas yang diambil dari jawaban atas pertanyaan yang diajukan baik pada domain manajemen maupun domain teknologi menunjukkan bahwa komputerisasi sejalan dengan visi, misi serta mendukung tujuan organisasi sehingga apabila diimplementasikan akan mendekatkan perpustakaan pada tujuan yang ingin dicapai, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa komputerisasi tepat dan layak untuk diimplementasikan di Perpustakaan Universitas Bengkulu.

Information Economics Review in the Computerized Strategic Planning in the Library of Bengkulu UniversityThis research describe regarding the computerize strategic planning in the library of Bengkulu University. The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness and efficiency of the computer utilization in the library of Bengkulu University. Base on the survey questioner, this research reviewed three aspects, namely cost, benefits that can be quantified or efficiency and the benefits cannot be quantified or effectiveness and risks. The research survey data is analyzed by using the information economics analysis which is development of the cost benefit analysis.
From the results this research that the cost needed or to be expended for the computerize is last than benefit to be obtained, and the assessment of the time used to process the work in each division for the core activity indicates that with computerize it will be quicker and more accurate compared to the conventional system, with effects the library performance increase. For the effectiveness assessment which is taken from the questioner asked both to the management domain and technology domain, it indicates that the computerize is in line with the vision, mission and support the library objective. Therefore, if it is implemented it will take the library to the desired purposes, that can conclude that the computerize is appropriate and feasible to be implement in the library of Bengkulu University.
