"Budaya perusahaan memegang peran penting dalam keberlangsungan suatu perusahaan karena melandasi nilai-nilai budaya dan serangkaian peraturan yang dipegang bersama sebagai pedoman bagi anggota perusahaan dalam bertindak dan berperilaku. Nilai-nilai budaya perusahaan yang dianut Samsung Electronic Indonesia (SEIN) telah membuktikan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Konfusianisme Korea, seperti hubungan subordinat dan loyalitas, di kantor cabang luar negeri tidak menurunkan keberhasilan Samsung dalam mengembangkan usaha. Sampai saat ini, anak perusahaan Samsung tersebar di berbagai negara, salah satunya adalah SEIN. Lokasi yang cukup jauh dari perusahaan induknya di Suwon, Korea dan perbedaan nilai-nilai budaya antara Korea dan Indonesia menjadi tantangan bagi SEIN untuk tetap mempertahankan budaya perusahaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan nilai-nilai Konfusianisme dalam SEIN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian kualitatif ini, pencarian data dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur dan studi kepustakaan dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa SEIN masih berusaha mempertahankan budaya perusahaan induknya. Hal tersebut ditampilkan pada pemberlakuan training dan pemberian materi tentang budaya kerja Korea. Dalam perusahaan SEIN, nilai-nilai Konfusianisme masih terlihat, terutama di antara hubungan atasan dan bawahan, contohnya penggunaan panggilan terhadap atasan dan respek terhadap atasan.

Corporate culture plays an important role in the sustainability of a company because it underlies cultural values and a set of rules that are implemented as guidelines for company members in acting and behaving. The corporate culture values adopted by Samsung Electronic Indonesia (SEIN) have proven that the implementation of Korean Confucian values, such as subordinate relations and loyalty, in overseas branches does not reduce Samsung`s success in developing its business. Until now, Samsung`s subsidiaries are spread in various countries, one of which is SEIN. The quite far distance from its parent company in Suwon, Korea and differences between Korea and Indonesia`s cultural values become a challenge for SEIN to maintain its corporate culture. This study aims to explain the application of Confucian values in SEIN. This study was conducted by using qualitative research methods. In this qualitative research, the search for data sources was carried out through structured interviews and literature review from various sources. The results of this study indicate that SEIN is still trying to maintain the culture of its parent company. It is shown by the implementation of training and providing material about Korean work culture. Within the SEIN company, Confucian values are still evident, mainly between superiors and subordinate relationships, for example the use of summons to superiors and respect for superiors. "
