"Penelitian ini membahas tentang gerakan perlawanan perempuan yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri melawan PT. WKS Grup Sinarmas dalam mempertahankan hak tanah ulayat masyarakat selama tahun 2017-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori politik contentious dan konsep ekofeminisme. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif berperspektif feminis guna menggali motif dan pengalaman perempuan yang sifatnya personal dan kolektif terkait gerakan perlawanan perempuan melawan korporasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa politik contentiou terjadi akibat adanya klaim lahan ulayat dari para perempuan dan ijin konsesi dari PT.WKS Grup Sinarmas yang melahirkan sejumlah aksi kolektif Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri yang solid dan efektif, salah satunya demonstrasi dengan membuka pakaian. Penggunaan teori politik contentious relevan untuk memotret keseluruhan gerakan perlawanan Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri, sementara konsep ekofeminsime digunakan mampu menjelaskan posisi perempuan yang sejalan dengan hubungan relasi perempuan yang erat dengan lingkungan di sekitarnya.

This study discusses the women's farmer resistance movement of the Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri against PT. WKS Group Sinarmas in defending community customary land rights during 2017-2020. This study uses the theory of contentious politics and the concept of ecofeminism. The research method uses qualitative methods with a feminist perspective to explore women's personal and collective motives and experiences related to the women's resistance movement against corporations. The results showed that contentious politics occurred due to customary land claims from women and concession permits from PT. WKS Sinarmas Group created several solid and effective collective actions by the Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri, one of which was an undressing demonstration by the women farmers. The use of the theory of contentious politics is relevant for portraying the entire resistance movement of the Kelompok Tani Sungai Landai Mandiri, while the concept of ecofeminism is used to explain the position of women which is in line with women's close relationship with the environment around them."

"Rural development in predominantly rural society is in effect, a compele transformation of the whole institutional structure of the rural environment and education can play a vital role towards the process of development in the traditionally developing society like India. The objective of the present paper is not on physical planning but on institutional-building to provide equal access to the basic needs of live; so that rural disparities can be removed. The chief goals are: (i) the distance minimization of educational services; (ii) reduction of population pressure per facility; (iii) adoption of national minimum needs programe. A rational educational strategy has been proposed regarding the spatial distribution, student-teacher ratio, environment, dropout stagnation; non-formal education, etc. The revelance and validity of the present approach have been tested, taking Siwan district of the North Bihar as a sample. The findings and results can be further compared to the similar territorial and functional regions for the similar studies which form the base of generalization to be applied for comprehensive planning programmes.
