"Art Deco sebagai bagian dari seni dekoratif telah berkembang dalam masa modernisme. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui penekanan bentuk maupun gaya arsitektur, desain interior, desain industri, fashion, lukisan, seni grafis, dan film. Art Deco tumbuh di antara penentangan dan penggabungan seni terdahulunya sehingga sumber inovasinya berasal dari berbagai macam aliran. Bangunan Theater Tuschinski dan Radio Kootwijk di Belanda adalah contoh bangunan bergaya arsitektur Art Deco yang mendapat pengaruh dari seni ukir dan seni bangunan dari Aztec dan Mesir Kuno. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau memberikan penjelasan tentang masalah yang diajukan.
Art Deco as part of decorative art has evolved in a period of modernism. It can be seen through the suppression of form and style of architecture, interior design, industrial design, fashion, painting, graphic arts, and film. Art Deco growing between the opposition and the merger of the previous art so that the source of innovation derived from various streams. Tuschinski Theater Building and Radio Kootwijk in the Netherlands are examples of the Art Deco architectural style buildings that have the effect of sculpture and art of building of Aztec and Ancient Egypt. This study used qualitative methods, the method of research that aims to describe or provide an explanation of the problem posed."
